### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great accounting text

I have to say I was somewhat skeptical of the price of this text (not just Amazon, but everywhere). I'm a relative newbie to accounting, though, and it's been very helpful. The chapters are full of real-life examples and company profiles. There are ethics case studies as well. At the end of each chapter, there's a review of the learning objectives and practice problems. If it's possible to make accounting interesting, this text has done it.

Using this book for a master's class and thankfully it is much more explanatory than many other books I've had for graduate courses. Considering it's been many years since I've approached any type of accounting course this one doesn't force you to double up on remedial resources to grasp the subject matter. The illustrations and examples are not necessarily plentiful or repetitive as and undergrad text would be but they are clear and sufficient.
