When it arrived I was disappointed that it wasn’t as large as I needed it to be. My cat is messy and through scar litter everywhere. Ugh. Although my rescue kittens came box-trained (great fosters!!!!), there was always litter everywhere!! After buying the "spaghetti" mat from big box store (essentially ineffective), I was pleased to find this. Excess litter from paws drops into the open honeycomb surface and then you just dump the litter from the open-ended "envelope" back into the box.
