Does it hold up on a window?** A: It works great on a flat surface like windows and mirrors. The cats are subtle and the build simple.The hinges on each side face the same direction so there is a bit of asymetricalness to it.One of the six sticky pads did not hold and will not hold. The others have held without issue. It failed sometime during the first night. I reset it and it failed a few hours later with nothing on the shelf. I'll have to cut a command strip to work with it. It is not a huge thing but a problem. However, the package comes with glue to help with this. However, I had tossed the glue at the end of the first day. I tried to move 3 different adhesive strips following the instructions exactly and it pulled the paint and in one case a bit of the Sheetrock off with it.
