Review: Measurements Not Accurate - I've used this material many years ago. Apparently it's gone through some changes. I ordered this for modeling purposes, not medical. When I received the item, it appeared a lot thicker than 1/16" or 1.5mm. So I broke out the digital caliper and measured it. Yep, about 1/8" or 3.5mm! And the part numbers on the packaging is different. I contacted desertcart and they sent out a replacement. Same thing.... I may be able to still use it for other projects, just not the current one. This may be just fine for splinting, but for my purposes it's too thick.

I've used this material many years ago. Apparently it's gone through some changes. I ordered this for modeling purposes, not medical. When I received the item, it appeared a lot thicker than 1/16" or 1.5mm. So I broke out the digital caliper and measured it. Yep, about 1/8" or 3.5mm!
