I have Martins, Taylors, Gibsons, and Nitro Fenders all on these stands including outdoor shows. But I would never leave any guitar on a stand longer than I was using it. Best place for a guitar is in the case. Not on display. **Q: Will this hold exotic shaped guitars such as the jackson warrior or king v without causing damage?** A: The legs have foam rubber wrapped around them, the entire length of the front feet. The neck is adjustable up and down. I successfully used this stand with a "contoured" back Ovation guitar without problem. I currently play an Emerald Guitar carbon fiber guitar, and the shape is a little different than standard guitars. I DO use the rubber head lock every time I put it on the stand, because the odd back shape does cause it to tend to twist a little. I do think it would hold a Warrior fine. The stand is very stable, and locks tightly and secure. Good luck! It's a great stand for the money. **Q: Will this work for a headless bass?** A: No I don't think this stand would work for a headless bass unless the there was some flaring out at the nut which made it wider than the neck. I use this stand for my Telecasters and the only thing that hold the guitar in the stand is the slight out turn of the upper part of the headstock. If that wasn't there the guitar would slip right through the stand. **Q: My son is asking for a self (auto) locking guitar stand. Can anyone tell mw whether this is auto locking or if it just has a strap to fasen?** A: This model only has the strap. I would suggest that a carry bag be made available as well ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy Stand - Seems to be a Good Height for Bunny Proofing *by T***G on January 23, 2017* We've been bunny proofing our family room so I needed new guitar stands to keep them away from the bunny's teeth. (I didn't want to attach grips to the wall and I didn't want to re-locate the guitars.) I kept trying to find reviews that listed the height of the cradle, since I wanted something higher, but couldn't find any. Therefore, my review is primarily for bunny-proofers looking for the same answer. The height from floor to grip is 43 inches, fully extended. The distance between the bottom of my 3 guitars and the floor ranges between 9 and 11 inches (acoustic, resonator, electric). Hanging seems to be another deterrent, since it will swing if the bunny stands on her hind legs and investigates - preventing a firm grip for gnawing. This guitar stand is very sturdy and I love the auto-close feature. She's noticed the rubber feet and has given them a bit of a nibble, but she doesn't seem to notice the guitars hanging above her. I've ordered two more, but I will say that if I had expensive guitars that I wanted to keep in mint condition, I don't know that I would trust this stand with those in regards to the bunny. I think this stand makes it more likely they won't be damaged, but they're not completely bunny-proof for our bunny's size. If you had a dwarf bunny, I would think they'd be fine. Expensive guitars would likely find a home in another room, or I'd break down and install the wall grips. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ They Made it Right *by C***3 on April 27, 2023* I currently own 3 of these. I like to keep the guitars that I play the most in them for easy access. I had one that kind of fell apart after a few years and 30-40 gigs. I use them on stage. I have to admit I was a little discouraged. I emailed the customer service and they said they would send me a replacement... and they did! Whaaaaattttt??? Hard to believe any company these days offers that kind of service. I may have said something about the slow process in another review. I take it back.
