However, it would have been easier with 2 people. The directions were clear and simplified. I wondered why the company did not include a flat wrench like so many other products needing assembling. Luckily I had saved one from a previous order that fit the bolt and made the assembly much easier. I am able to lift and carry the ladder although it is not lightweight. It's very sturdy. It is easy to fold up for storage and unfold when needed.
