"Normal" 27-35 mg doses tear up my gut and give me terrible diarrhea.I have found that this low dose of iron taken with one 250 mg Kirkman vitamin C capsule pushed my blood levels into the normal range within a few months. Iron needs a little vitamin C to hold its hand and walk it into the blood stream! I have been following this routine for the last 18 months and blood tests no longer show any anemia. I am back to my usual energetic self.
