When you mount this IT MUST GO INTO A STUD. The mount is heavy itself so mounting into a stud is a must. I mounted it to an inside corner and it was easy to do, FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS and you’ll be fine. Great range of motion after it’s installed.
