Hair comes in same color/texture as before. Also, I can go about two weeks between touch-ups if that helps. I was using a chemical remover (that has since been discontinued) and I have to say that this is much easier to use, my face doesn't get red like it did with the chemical and also you can wash/apply makeup right after using this dermaplaning tool (while with the chemical remover the instructions suggested waiting 24 hours before using anything on your face that might have perfumes in it). I really like this product (as you can probably tell)!! **Q: Is it better to use it while skin is dry or wet along with a shave gel/cream?** A: Definitely better on dry skin. If you went to an esthetician, they'd do it on dry skin.
