Arrived loosely rolled up so went down flat straight away.Only had a few days but so far so good. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good first impression, significt size. *by Y***H on 23 July 2023* I went for this larger mat as I have had a smaller one previously and it is sometimes hard to keep the chair on when used with a wide desk. The mat arrives rolled up in a box, with straps to keep it rolled up. It's made of a pretty thick and hard plastic. When you release the straps it unrolls springs out pretty vigorously (which is mentioned in the instructions). Thereafter just put it on the floor and it's flat and ready to use. This seems unlike some reviews (for similar products) which mention the need to soften in a bath of hot water or use weights. The plastic is certainly thick enough that I can't imagine the chair leaving any dents (also mentioned for some other products). I can't speak to longevity though as I have only just put it down, but the plastic is so hard, I could imagine it being brittle and cracking (again this being mentioned in other reviews).
