Sometimes I need to attach a video light to a Manfrotto 175 Spring Clamp: simply slide the 013 into the 5/8" socket, tighten the t-screw and you're in business. The 013 also has 1/4" and 3/8" screws for adding a cold shoe, Arca clamp or small ball head. The brass is top quality but, after all, is relatively soft metal and thus prone to dings and scratches from t-screws. After a few years of use, mine is rustic dark brown and scarred but still works as good as new. All in all a handy and well made adapter.
