Review: Sally! - we get baby Sally now, so one of the main characters has arrived. The Mad Punter is one of my favorites, along with the icicle and the freeway for Snoopy to worry about. Another great collection. Poor Miss Othmar and the egg shells.... Freida appears as well, but she is so one note I just couldn't get into her as a character. Snoopy the Vulture is always great, as well as plenty of blanket action (the classic burying set). Sally goes to school and gets cheated out of Tricks or Treats!

I have always loved the Peanuts comics and cartoon specials and these books are such a wonderful addition for a collector. Sally makes her first appearance when Charlie Brown has to push her around in a stroller rather than play in the big game. Violet changes her hair for one strip and then it goes right back in the bun again. Lucy tries again and again to get Schroeder to notice her and fails. Basically the jokes are wonderful and everyone is secure in their character now except for Sally who is continuing to develop beyond just being a baby.
