But they work. 4. BEAUTIFUL Maple neck,although fret edges DO require some work,as expected. Better than most Squires I've seen. Electronics function as expected.5. Would have given 5 stars, but mine was received with minor finish imperfection on edge of guitar. For a beginner, as I intend to do, a project/mod guitar is EXCELLENT.Straight,Maple neck Solid 7 lb. body, 'slim-taper neck(Think Modern C),and EASY to play.
