Thank you.** A: Yes, any fastener under 1/4". Blue lecture will work as well, but I prefer purple if the screw will need to come out in the future. If you don't ever plan on removing the screw, use red. I use purple on light duty fasteners such as RC airplanes/helicopters, small firearm components, etc. **Q: Can this be used to lock nylon set screws in an 6061 aluminum bar?** A: I haven't used it in this application. I use it as a very low tension threadlocker on tiny screws..Have you tried Loctite blue threadlocker? Can you change out the nylon setscrews for brass or stainless steel ones? Those would be very lockable with any of the loctite products. The nylon is the problem since it distorts easily. **Q: Does this Come with the Mil Spec certifications?** A: Only the bottle of Loctite is received. I put this stuff on last and haven't had to tighten the screw since. Be careful when you first open it. You have to poke a hole in the dropper, and when I did, the pressure difference made the purple stuff spurt out.
