Review: Too expensive and not as sharp as I expected - I bought this product because I was tired of cutting my sushi rolls separately with a knife. When I cut my first sushi roll, I had to apply some pressure and I could hear some crackling to the plastic as I cut through it. I thought it might crack at any moment. Disappointingly, most of the sushi slices had broke apart. I was a little upset, and was really hoping for an easier and a more seamless cut on my first try. However, when I applied water to the cutting wire, the second sushi roll was easier to slice and most of the sushi slices remained in tact. I am rating my review because, number one, this is way to expensive for what it's worth. Only because the wire, in my opinion, could be sharper. Keep in mind, this is not recommended for cutting any kind of hard substance such as a block of cheese or a raw potato. But, it would rock with something like a banana or some soft bread.
