## Description

Tekton sockets have large, stamped markings that are permanently impressed into the material by a roll-stamp die and are as large as possible while still being readable along the socket's curved surface. The exterior of the socket is chrome-plated to resist corrosion and wipe clean to a mirror finish. The interior is protected against corrosion with chrome plating that is supplemented with a clear coat or painted finish where needed for full coverage. The 6-point socket opening provides more access positions for multiple types of fasteners, including hex, double hex, and square. Radiused corners prevent fastener round-off by applying force to a fastener's flat sides, rather than its corners. Four detent grooves provide a secure connection with the retaining ball of a drive tool, and beveled inner rims help guide the socket onto other tools. This set includes a carrying case

Review: My favorite tools - I love these socket sets. I've used them the past five years for small engine equipment repairs, car repairs, appliances, etc. They grip securely without stripping, won't come off the ratchet without pushing the quick release, and have stood up attached to breaker bars, power tools, even my impact wrenches (before i learned you're not supposed to do that.) Lifetime warranty if they ever do break I've never had that problem. Nice that the sets do not skip sizes. You always know you have the one you need. They come in a great case with metal hinge pins that won't break on you after a few years like other plastic cases. The pins can be pushed out so you can separate the case into trays to fit your tool cabinet if you wish. I'm positive these sockets will outlive me. I just hope one day they will go to someone who will appreciate them as much as I have.

If I didn't get my 1/4 + 3/8 ICON modular sets so cheap id buy all Tekton. I bought this because I wasn't waiting for ICON sockets to go back on sale. I love these socket sets. I've used them the past five years for small engine equipment repairs, car repairs, appliances, etc. They grip securely without stripping, won't come off the ratchet without pushing the quick release, and have stood up attached to breaker bars, power tools, even my impact wrenches (before i learned you're not supposed to do that.) Lifetime warranty if they ever do break I've never had that problem. Nice that the sets do not skip sizes. You always know you have the one you need. They come in a great case with metal hinge pins that won't break on you after a few years like other plastic cases. The pins can be pushed out so you can separate the case into trays to fit your tool cabinet if you wish. I'm positive these sockets will outlive me. I just hope one day they will go to someone who will appreciate them as much as I have.

Look no further if you want a very nice set! No skips on sockets with nice tight tolerances on sockets. Very heavy and quality is impeccable. If I didn't get my 1/4 + 3/8 ICON modular sets so cheap id buy all Tekton. I bought this because I wasn't waiting for ICON sockets to go back on sale. Tekton set was around $35 more with more sockets , extensions, breaker bar after I priced them both out. It completed my socket drawer!!!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Noob in mechanics - Happy with the kit so far

Edit: February 2024 I keep fixing my old Durango from time to time and these tools are still looking great and going strong. No rust to report. I’d definitely buy again. No doubt. Excellent value for the money. I had some AC issue with my car. It ended being more, I had to replace radiator, battery, AC system. So far I've only used these for about 10hours. Not sure I'll have to use them that much in the future. I've already bought cheap crappy tools in the past and this toolset doesn't seems to be like that. It seems to be a good product, strong built. It doesn't feel cheap when using it. Had to use all the main parts in the box and I'm pretty happy with the overall content. I'm very happy with my purchase so far. I'll update if I notice corrosion or any bad things... Edit; April 21 Well I ended up having more issues to fix on the car... One year later and these tools do not have a single spot of corrosion (some Amazon basics tools I bought at the same time were fully covered in rust within a couple of months).
