Lower legs?** A: I use it on my feet, in a reflexology manner, for plantar fasciitis; as well as on my legs in an effort to break up fibrotic tissue (I have Lipedema, and have lots of fibrotic tissue that can limit mobility). That is primarily what I purchased this massager for, and so far I find it is pretty helpful in those areas. **Q: Does the deep tissue massager loose power if you put a lot of pressure behind it?** A: It is a pretty powerful massager, but I would imagine if you submitted it to enough resistance it would slow down. I haven't ever put a lot of force/pressure on it, because there is no reason to. The pulsing motion goes pretty deep with only a firm pressure; therefore, I cannot envision any advantage of putting alot of pressure on it. This is not a milk toast vibrator, but instead does go deep into the tissues. I have used it for several years. When I could not raise my right arm and was doing physical therapy with slow results, a few minutes on my shoulder and shoulder blade completely removed the problem. I could raise my arm with no pain or obstruction. I massage my legs after walking and it helps de-stress. I have ankle and heel pain that is mostly alleviated with this massage. I would probably get even better results with someone else massaging so I can fully relax. I usually use the lowest setting and do not need the max. I am in my 60s with some arthritis and hip issues and this definitely helps. I am fearful of the higher powered massagers but was considering an upgrade because I have had the issue where this has broken. I am thankful I read the review where the person took his apart after hearing the loose screw. I did the same and was able to fix mine and it now works perfectly. It was a little tricky getting it back together but I did and I am NOT mechanically inclined. I recommend this as a starter for anyone condidering a deep tissue massager. It is noisy, but there are no battery issues since it is corded. It probably not as powerful as some others but it’s safe and I think powerful enough for most.
