Why not jump 10 degrees every time? I had a similar older version of this heating pad (it lasted nearly 10 years before giving up on me) and it just had low/med/high. This has a digital read out, so why not give us more control? I'm kinda missing my old heating pad. I'm hopeful that this one has a better effect if it is in fact infrared. I got the more expensive one because of the mentioned infrared and it's weighted,but it's not much heavier than the old one tbh. I love the fact that this gives you moist heat, that's why I bought the original. I hated using wet clothes or misting my heating pad and dry heat makes me hurt. It did mention however if you live in a dry climate or your AC causes dry climate to use a humidifier in the room. Luckily I don't have a dry climate but it's good to know. Overall this is a good heating pad compared to one without the moisture features. It's well made and gets super hot. I just see room for improvement and it's kinda annoying.
