The case does what it says, fits snuggly, protects the screen and convert to a flip stand if you are using your Kindle to watch movies. I like how it puts the Kindle to sleep when closed and when you flip the cover open the Kindle wakes up. All of the features on the Kindle are easily reachable when the cover is on, the only drawback may be the volume button is slightly hard to adjust when the cover is open part way, you have to flip the front part completely over to reach the volume control comfortably. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice case *by K***O on Reviewed in the United States on December 6, 2014* I like it! The fit is good & like the one for my PW, it puts my Fire HD 7 to sleep when I close it & wakes it up when I open it.It is not a heavy duty case, but for around my house, the case is fine - if I were to take it out with me, I would put my Fire in the case & then put them in a Neoprene carrying tote thing that I have - just for some added protection, but I am really protective over my devices.The back of the case is hard plastic - the front is a thin covering - like the cardboard that cereal comes in. For an adult for the nightstand and something light it probably works fine, but when you have a device worth $150-200 or so I want it to be protected and this is strictly a cover and a little flimsy. Definitely not something that is kid-proof! I bought the new Kindle Fire 7 for my 9 year-old granddaughter and it won't last long with any child. I would highly recommend spending a few extra bucks and buy the Marware MicroShell Folio Lighweight Standing Case. Just bought my second one and my first one that is two years old is like it just came out of the box!!
