This is excellent duct tape, especially resistant to rain and weathering. We just removed about 6' from the deck of our boat, where it secured a fabric mechanical cover, and it never budged in over 6 months of exposure. Highly recommended.

This is a specialty tape for the reasons I've described. It's formulated to hold up in higher temperatures and to resit weathering, including UV breakdown and exposure to sunlight. It's also relatively easy to remove, despite sticking very well. Highly recommended.

This is a great tap. Does not leave a residue. My only issue is the seller shows a pic of a 60 foot roll but delivers a 25 foot roll. I did not find anything In the description that indicated either length.

This is much better quality compared to other duct tapes I have tried. Which is good because it costs more. The outside of tape seems to be of higher quality. I bought this to repair a car bumper until I can get it fixed.I bought the blue color because it is pretty close to my cars color. I have hole on the front/side of my bumper. I basically created part of a bumper with this tape. I will be giving this tape the ultimate test. It will have to survive on my bumper through a Wisconsin winter. Rain,snow,ice,salt and temps 30 below zero. The only concern I had is that it is thinner than what I expected. If it works doesn't matter how thick it is. I am giving it 5 star because I am optimistic. I well keep this updated as the winter progresses.

I ONLY buy the 3M 8979 duct tape. Did you know you can reuse it? It hardly sticks to itself or what you use it on. Found this years ago and buy nothing else.

This item is a 25yd roll. The picture is showing a 60yd roll. Be advised. Much cheaper elsewhere like grainger.

This tape is bluish in color. Really. How can you go wrong with BLUE duct tape! I used it on our cracked shower head. The day we installed it, it cracked, and it's been a pain to try to keep on. There's been a couple of times that it blasted water across our bathroom. I tore this tape in strips and tried to wrap it around the cracked area, but the shower head is cone(ish) shaped. I never could get it to go around properly, without gaps. That said, it DID seem to be waterproof.

I use this at work on my CNC machine. A 4' x 8' MDF board is held to the machine table with vacuum. This is how the parts are held on the machine. Without this tape, everything would be moving all over the place. It withstands just about everything and keeps the board tightly in place. This is a great product. That's why I keep coming back for more.

Also mal ehrlich, das hat eine echt gute Qualität, die Lagen liegen sehr gut. Und wenn man es gut verlegt liegt es an eine Knetmasse an einer Stelle, bedeutet passt sich sehr gut an.
