Slime 20274 Bike Tube Flat Protectors and Liners, Lightweight, fits 12-26 x 1.5″-2.125″, Flat Proof for 2 Tires

I bought an electric bike, and put on a comfort seat, a rack, and these tire protector inserts. I have had many inexpensive bikes, and inserts do help the tires last longer and have increased function and durability. I finally upgraded to an electric bike, and I was wondering if tire inserts by Slime worked on them. They fit great and work great, and installed very easily. Flat tires can destroy a bike's use so having protection is a great idea.

If you are looking for a liner for your bike tires, i would consider these. They fit right inside the tire and helps prevent flat tires. They function perfectly! They are also a great price. I would use these everytime. Slime is the best.

If you ride in thorny territory, some protection is way better than none, and worth the minor weight increase. If you're a world class rider with 3% body fat and a $20,000 bike, then have your 20-person tech team decide what should or shouldn't go in your tires and whether your performance will suffer with thorn protection! But if you're an actual normal human biker who wants to repair flats less often, put some of these in, be careful not to let them crinkle up or fold as you inflate, and enjoy more riding and less cursing and fixing. Or pick another brand, and put those in. There is no major magic in thorn protection liners, just some basic added protection.

Easy to install works great never had a flat since I installed these not very wide but works great

I got tired of fixing flats on my gravel bike, all of which were from small objects such as tiny wires from steel belted radial tire cords, dried blackberry thorns and clamshell shards. These liners were easy to install and I haven't had a flat since, so I decided to install a set on my ebike, especially the rear tire which is a real pain to take apart on the side of the road or trail.

you can use these on what ever kind of bike, but i espcialy recomend using these sort of things if you have an ebike. incase you dont know, this is a very tough, yet very pliable liner that goes inside the wheel, in between the tire and the tube, so is something punctures the tire it likely wont go through the tube, saving you from a flat and you wont even know that your tire was just punctured, you just keep on riding. before you install it, try to puncture it with anything, a nail, tack, saftey pin etc etc, and you will see just how awesome these things are. once you install these you shouldnt get any more puncture flats i some what think they could include some thin double sidded tape to hold it into position, because it can be a challenge to install. the trick imo is to already have the tube in the tire and let most of the air out, break the bead on one side, and then use youe fingers to shove it between the tire and the tube

It's been 6 months since I ordered these and put them into my Schwinn 26" bike that I ride 2.5 miles each way to work 4d a week. Most of my flats were from these sharp seeds that get on the ground every so often here in bay area CA. I haven't had a flat since then and the tires tend to stay much more inflated than before. Very pleased. Only that I did try to find a brand that wasn't made in China. It looked like this was one of the few, and I spent the extra $'s-- then got the product and found it was made in China after all. Probably no way around it with products like this.

So I ride an e-bike to work everyday, was constantly struggling with punctured tubes and flats. I got this in the hopes it would stop, just stops the smallest things from going thru. Small thorns and stuff go right thru though so definitely not the best option out there

Gives peace of mind for my daily commute.

This product was a dream to install. It was described as being for 1.5 width tires or more. I took a chance and bought it anyway. It fit perfectly for my 1.25 x 27 in tire. It curved into the outer tire staying well making installation of the rim with the tube easy plus adding sidewall protection. I have used competitive products and had difficulty centering. Not so with slime for my tire size. I am totally impressed with the value for money and the product ability. Description should include 1.25 tires (racer).

It's really good, value for money

Hace más de 10 años, compré un protector de la misma marca, tuve una experiencia positiva con su uso, ya que no tuve pinchazos por años, en serio, años de uso diario en condiciones de bajo puentes, charcos, construcciones, etc. Vendí la bicicleta y se fue con esos protectores. Luego de una mala experiencia con las llantas sólidas, regresé a utilizarlos. Me parecen diferentes, más elásticos, más ligeros. Tenía dudas de que funcionaran tan bien cómo los anteriores, sobre todo ahora que se triplicó la distancia al trabajo. Sin embargo han funcionando bien. Sigo sin pinchazos y con los beneficios de una llanta inflable.
