The Bomb!
I used the ole Black n Decker $25 knife for a few years. The primary purpose is to thinly slice grilled chicken breast. It worked fine, but the trigger was garbage and finally quit working. There are so many great cordless tools/appliances out there and I thought why not a cordless electric knife. So without breaking the bank I purchased one with good reviews for less than $50. What a disappointment. Maybe fine for slicing a few veggies, but not for the weekly chicken breasts. Would it do it, sure but slow and had a flimsy blade. I decided to go back to corded knife and checked the reviews. This one had mostly good reviews. It was twice the price of the cheap ones but I decided to give it a try. Never thought an electric knife would make me smile every time I use it. Twice as good as the old black n decker and four times better than the cordless that I paid the same price for. Powerful motor. Strong, stiff blade. Ergonomic handle (some reviews said it was too bulky. I’m an average sized guy and have zero issue). This is a great knife. Highly recommend over the cheap corded knives and the mid-priced cordless knives. Not sure about the expensive cordless knives. If this one ever dies I will replace it with the same knife 💪🏻

Excellent Electric Knife
Have not had an electric knife in many years. I needed one for Thanksgiving as we had quite a large group. The knife performed very well, easily carving up large turkey breasts, and did so quickly. We bought a couple of precooked chickens at the market for test runs and it carved them flawlessly. My only concern when I purchased this was the length of the blades. My old knife from 20+ years ago had longer ones. No concern at all after using this. Good name, very sharp blades, easy to hold an maneuver, no shredding of the meat.....you can't go wrong. Highly recommend.

Smooth and comfortable to use.
So far I really like this electric knife. I've only used it to cut corn off the cob and it was so much easier than my old one (which was over 20 yrs old). I'm sure it will work great with holiday meats etc and I'm looking forward to using it more. it seems to have a decent amount of power (just remember, it is corded, not battery powered which seems to help), and the cutting was very smooth. It fit well in my hand and I had no problems operating it. To disconnect the blade, you'll need to push in the button on both sides of the handle which wasn't any issue and I found it to be a good safety feature. I don't have any use for the little wood cutting board that came with it but maybe I will at some point or else I'll just donate it. I did purchase it from the Amazon Warehouse as it was quite a bit cheaper than the 'new' price, but other than the top being taped shut from being repackaged, you couldn't tell it wasn't new, and everything was clean and pieces were complete.

Cuts Tough Sourdough Bread As If It Were Warm Butter
I never thought I needed an electric knife, and then I started baking sourdough bread. The crust can be a little tough on some recipes, and my regular bread knife wasn’t cutting it anymore…pun completely intended!! I had seen this exact knife in the Williams Sonoma website for $5 more, Of course I decided to order from Amazon! Lucky me,‘I was able to snag free same day delivery. I liked the knife so well that I bought one for my daughter. The knife is very sharpe, easy to assemble, and can cut super thin slices effortlessly. It comes with a storage rack that seems kind of useless to me, and a nice tiny bamboo cutting board. I’m going to have to look at the instruction booklet a little more carefully to figure out this storage rack, though. The only thing I wish were different about the knife is that it would be great if it were cordless.

Poor Quality-Product
Bought this knife 4 years ago but have only used it 4 times. I only used it to carve a Thanksgiving turkey for the last 4 years, nothing else. Last year the blades started coming off when using but I made it through. This year I was not able to keep the blades on. Especially the left side. Throwing this product away and buying a Hamilton instead. Although their reviews show the same problem. Of course the Cuisinart warranty is for only 3 years. Of course! But again only used it 4 times.
