Basic reliable scanner like the others we have from Datalogic. This is a 'wired' model and it goes in and out of it's flexible stand easily unlike our wireless version of same model that gets stuck in its recharger cradle all the time. This unit has solid features, well built, good ergonomics and we like the autoscan without having to pull trigger (like many others) while leaving it in its cradle. Scanner is also customizable to some degree. Fits our needs and seems to scan our tags on first shot every time. Purchased at a great price, new in box and would recommend as a good buy.

Our company transitioned to bar code technology in a production environment and needed 30. We started with the $20 Chinese scanners but had multiple problems, the most frequent being that the scanner did not accurately pick up the scans. We replaced them with these and have not looked back. Highly reliable, very accurate and picks up the bar code on the first pass. If production costs are the important consideration, then stick with Datalogic.

This hand scanner replaced a 6 year old model in our library that is heavily used every school day. It worked perfectly out of the box and is the perfect replacement. We have been extremely satisfied with its value and performance.

Items were used as replacements for a legacy application. No issues whatsoever is replacement and installation. Time will tell how reliable they will be.
