I needed exactly these to reinvigorate an old lava lamp that had sadly died. Works fine, no issues at all related to the bulb. I do *kinda* wish that I'd been able to just buy a single bulb....I don't use these much, so having a spare floating around for the next few years is a bit annoying on balance. But it's exactly what I wanted and a reasonable price.

I buy these every so often just to keep a couple around in case one of my bulbs go out. They work really well and last a very long time. If you are ever wondering and you have never changed one of these and don't know what kind of bulb to get, check the box of your lava lamp and it will tell you exactly what kind of bulbs to get for it. You can probably use other bulbs; the manufacturer will suggest the proper bulbs to put in your lava lamp, so you don't risk blown bulbs within a couple days.
