This was a leap of faith, that was worth it. Excellent sound, well built, attractive. I like the highest quality audio that I can afford, like an LG phone because of its DAC, Lindy Cromo ANC headphones, Kenwood ICE with JL Audio speakers - I'm not an expert but I recognise and appreciate good sound. The Tibo Kameleon 6 has a full, warm sound with good detail but not over bright or harsh. House and dance sounds excellent with very clear separation of each part of the track. Americana like Fleetwood Mac sounds warm and engaging, I've not listened to enough hard rock yet to come to a conclusion. The initial set up was tricky, because my router (Vodafone standard) didn't want to connect through WPS the first few times, and trying the manual setup through the app and using the router password was impossible because the (sparse) instructions that came with the Tibo didn't mention its own network WiFi password that is needed to join its network to then tell it the router password.... After a few tries the WPS worked, and I was able to use the app to remove the Tibo password and then set it up manually. I may have been not using the WPS properly, but it should just be 2 button presses! My brother has a Sonos 1 and this is at least parity, and to my ears better with weightier sound. No matter what you read about tiny speakers having great bass, it ultimately is related to speaker cabinet size, and this Tibo Kameleon 6 is a decent size. It's also Bluetooth 4, which is the version that brought in better quality codecs like Aptx (but it's not Aptx HD), later Bluetooth versions are about range and power efficiency. I don't use the Bluetooth though, as sound via WiFi is inherently better as the data rates are higher. I'm pleased with the sound, build, and style (the walnut style end plates look like real wood). The app is basic but works. There is quite a loud startup voice when you turn it on, and I'd love the option to remove it, or change it's volume or accent (default is an American lady, despite this being a British product). Finally, this retailer offers a 2 year warranty as standard, which isn't mentioned anywhere until you buy. I really struggled to find any reviews of Tibo products, bar some vague customers ones on Amazon, but glad I bought this one.

Bought in 2021 and very impressive sound. Unfortunately 4 years later there is no longer any technical support available and the app is no longer available to download so the radio section cannot be used! It's only used now is as a Bluetooth speaker. I cannot find out whether Tibo has gone bust but it appears that way. Also the company that supplies through Amazon are not returning their calls but are still selling the equipment. Very disappointed!

A very worthwhile purchase - very cheap (sub £30) for a wifi multiroom speaker which has some great features, great bass and volume and only a few detractions. Firstly, this is a decent sized unit which comes with a set of three, interchangeable different coloured side panels. It also comes with LOADS of bass, which is great if you like a lot of low frequency but is a little annoying if you wish you could turn it down a bit - which you cant if you are using Spotify Connect or a similar wireless streaming platform. Some great plus features are the easy ability to pair two together into a L/R configuration, the sleep timer & alarm function which now means my Tibo is my go to wake up & fall asleep device, and the wattage that is delivered by the device. My only complaint is the inability to change the sound shape, which I believe can be done using an equalizer on the device you are bluetoothing to the Tibo, but cant be done if you are wirlesess streaming as I mentioned earlier. Overall, very happy purchaser and will keep an eye on the products comibng from this British company in the future.

To get the positive out of the way. Sound is great for the price. Deep bass and spacious sound. The negatives really outweigh the positives. Firstly the software is slow and clunky. Tidal functionality is almost unbearable. It won't stay turned on when connecting to Bluetooth like with an Echo device. FLAC/WAV is not officially supported do expect cutouts when casting to it via DLNA. Specs advertising 24/96 but can't handle 16/44. Shocking in this day and age. No gapless support with DLNA. The artifical voice that states things like power on is simply too loud. It scales with the main system volume. Very very irritating. There's a constant hiss coming from the speaker when no audio is playing that is very noticeable. Quite a bassy speaker without any Equalisee functionality is an oversight. For £30 it's just about acceptable for a Bluetooth speaker.

Mine arrived with an awful hiss in the background that was unlivewithable. There is a very loud announcement when turning the speaker on, off, or switching inputs. Returned for a refund, which was a big disappointment as I wanted to support a British item

Only bought a couple of days ago but so far I love it, good sound quality and so far I've found the app easy to use.

Arrived with the bass speaker loose in the cabinet along with its mounting screws. Even worse than not working, it is downright dangerous with loose metal in the cabinet alongside mains electricity. To add insult to injury the cloth on the exterior is unevenly stuck down, and the control panel is scratched. Maybe British workmanship is back to where it was in the 1970s.

Product arrived damaged during transit. Looks as though the packaging was not enough to protect it from rough handling. The top control panel was separated from the unit as seen on opening. Never got any further. Also, just need to point out that this speaker although it has good specifications, needs to be plugged into mains power and us not really portable in the sense of battery devices.
