National 710701 Axle Spindle Seal

Fits good on my 2009 f250. it is good if you are looking for something cheap. if you want something more expensive go ahead.

I used this seal on my 2008 F-350 and is the seal that covers the end of the axle housing tube, between the axle housing and u-joint. I wasn't quite sure if this was the correct one when ordering since it is different than the original, oem seal. It is actually an updated version that is supposed to solve the issue with the oem seal not staying in place. Worked great for me. I drove it into the axle housing first, then slid the axle through.

5-star product. Fit my 2006 F-250 SuperDuty frontend like a glove. Replaces the poorly designed seals that used to come standard on these frontends. Would buy again in a heartbeat and knowing Ford I'll probably have to.

I didn’t have a seal set tool large enough, used a metal cup style oil filter wrench and an extension to hammer in. Clean the seating areas well!

Good quality

I recently replaced my U joints in my 2006 Ford Superduty. These dust seals are used on the differential side of the axles to keep dirt out of the axle tubes. The retaining ring fell out of both of these seals upon installation. I had to pry out the rings of my old seals and use them in the new seals to get an acceptable fit. I wouldn’t buy these again.
