Corsairs SF line of power supplies always deliver.
After using many SF power supplies from Corsair for years, my expectations are very high. I expect silent performance, no coil whine, and delivery of the advertised power. And to no surprise, the SF1000L delivers. I am not sure what secret sauce Corsair uses to get these power supplies to be so efficient and quiet, but other brands I’ve tried over the years have never been able to match its performance while maintaining absolute silence. The smaller type 5 connectors are a nice, although a completely unnecessary change. If I had any real complaint, it’s the length of the cables. More specifically the length of the 12VHPWR cable. It seems extremely short, even for many ITX builds that use a gigantic 40 series card. If your going to use fancy new small type 5 connectors and only include an extremely short 12VHPWR cable in the box, you should at least offer a longer version of the 12VHPWR for sale on your site or even an extension for it. Instead to extend the length of the cable for my build, I ended up purchasing a dodgy no-name brand 12VHPWR cable extension, which has worked fine so far.. But given the history of the 12VHPWR since its launch, I’d much rather have purchased a genuine corsair cable. Cable length aside, the power supply is wonderful. I don’t see myself buying any other brand of power supply as long as corsair continues to make high quality power supplies like the SF1000L.

Small but powerful
A few things to note this is an SFX-L PSU which puts it in between ATX and SFX (I added photos for comparison). This is designed for mini and micro ATX towers not really mid or full towers. I put this in a Lian Li 011 Mini as it requires an SFX or SFX-L and I wanted a 1000w PSU for future proof once I finish upgrading my system. Installation was easy but will vary based on your system. So far this PSU has been running great. It runs quite since it doesn't turn the fan on until it reaches a certain temperature. I ran a stress test for almost 4 minutes before the fan kicked on and it ran quite even with the fan running. Another thing to note is the cables are very short as this is designed for smaller cases and they use a proprietary connector that are smaller than regular psu cables. If you are looking for a small yet powerful PSU I would fully recommend this one just be aware of the limitations of the cable length.

A wonderful PSU, and Cheaper than comparable 1000w SFX-L PSU's on the Market!
The Many Good things: -Price point is great - there is no other SFX-L 1000-watt psu on the market for under $300 (at least at the time of writing). - PSU is powerful and is easily able to handle an overclocked PSU and overclocked GPU - even the most recent, newest GPU's are compatible like the 7900 xtx and 40-series cards (at least, at the time of writing)! - Its seriously super quiet. The Fan doesn't even need to turn itself on most of the time. That might be a problem for some but come on.... youve got an ITX build. You know its gonna run hotter than most build anyways. - Its got a TON of PCI-e connectors, all fully modular! That means that you've got many options for linking it up to that power-hungry graphics card you've been dreaming about. You can use one dedicated cable per power connector on your GPU. Im using an AMD 7900 xtx with three power connectors - each using their own dedicated cable! -Wires are NOT braided, but I think that this is actually a GOOD thing! Hear me out - Braiding equals unnecessary bulk and additional inflexibility, making wires harder to hide within the smallest of ITX build. The wires as well as connectors going into the PSU are super small, more flexible than competitor's PSU's and easy to route! The only BAD thing I encountered: I originally purchased this PSU with the intention on pairing it with the Phanteks Shift XT ITX Form Factor PC Chassis... but for some reason this was a bad combination. The Shift XT Chassis wasn't able to properly ground itself with this PSU. And as a result, any random contact with the Shift XT Chassis metal plating would result in a static shock and ZAAAP! The computer would turn itself off. This was fixed by changing the PC case from Phanteks Shift XT to a Lian Li A4-H20 - and I never experienced the issue ever again.

Depending on your build, cables may be too short for EVEN an SFF.
Powerful. Quiet. Small. It looks and feels well built and solid. And to all the people on their high horse thinking nobody can read but them, the cables are too short, regardless of how small your build is.

Excellent choice for those seeking powerful, efficient, and compact performance in a PC build
Pros. Quiet Operation: The 120mm fan operates quietly even under load, with smart fan curves that help minimize noise during low-to-moderate usage. Future-Proofing: With support for PCIe 5.0 and ATX 3.0, it accommodates high-end GPUs and meets demanding power specifications of new components. Cons. Modular cables, while beneficial, can sometimes be a bit bulky or lengthy for tight spaces, requiring extra attention for efficient routing.

Cable Woes
Cables are incredibly short. Which, while annoying enough in itself. What really breaks that camel's back with this nonsense, is that not only does Corsair fail to sell stock versions of the cables on Amazon, forcing your to either A) Use their terrible webstore and wait forever for shipping on what is likely the last piece to get your build up and running. B) Pay an insane markup for their "premium" cables which are nearly as expensive as the PSU itself. Additionally none of their cables kits include a 12VHPWR, which is beyond bonkers given that there's basically no reason to get a 1K wattage PSU if you're not running something that requires one. This feels like a exhausting cashgrab and has basically spoiled me on the brand. I will now be avoiding corsair products in the future.

Never had any issue with Corsair PSUs and this one is no different. Works perfectly with my build and provides safe, reliable power to my components in a compact form factor. Only nit-pick I have is that I wish the cables were a wee bit longer for my case, but that was fixed with some nice cable extensions. Other than that, awesome product!

Ha funcionado a la perfección hasta ahorita.

Put this into my mATX case (Asus AP201), cables are a little short and the extension cables (for CPU) is an extra $100. Managed to mount the PSU in a way that the CPU cable reaches, so why not sell extension cables together. Price was the driver, performance is good, no coil noise.
