Tasty, flavorful and what I like about anchovies.

These anchovies are good for cookery. They are head/tail-less without skin, but they retain the tiniest bones, of course, that others do. I've moved on and am purchasing another brand, though, because I feel the price is too high. If you can find cheaper, do so.

The four glass jars arrived intact -- no dings or dents in the lids, no leaks -- individually wrapped in bubble wrap, then taped together for extra security. The flavor of the fillets is full, rich and deep, with a nice hint of smokiness. Of course very salty, but anchovy lovers know this. I use in sauces, casseroles, side dishes, soups, Caesar salad dressing, and pizza, all of which require some salt for fullest flavor. The benefit is that I don't need to add salt; I've got it already in the dish. These are some of the most delicious anchovies I have ever come across. You can taste the craftsmanship that went into them, the flavor is so balanced, with a sweetness that lingers on the tongue. The dainty little glass jars ensure cleanest taste with minimal chemical or metallic intrusions. Once empty, they can be cleaned and re-used for a multitude of purposes... you add nothing to the landfill! What's not to love?

Received well plastic bubbled wrap in secure cardboard box however olive oil seeped partially out of container. Will not be able to use due possible contamination. This item not legible for return due health and safety concerns. Can I please get refund.
