Lovely product would give 10 stars in if I could! My skin feels best using a combination of both the cream and the serum. It smells absolutely divine and leaves my skin feeling very soft in a way that no other expensive cream does. As with other natural products there is residue left after application but if you leave for a while it does eventually absorb. I have only been using it a couple of weeks but am so smitten with this product I am ordering another set whilst it is on offer.

Love this face cream. I am 60 and my face can get a bit dry especially in the winter and although this feels heavy going on, it isn’t and my skin drinks it up and feels lovely and soft afterwards. Love the smell too. I’ve not tried the serum yet as still have another brand on the go but the face cream is a definite yes from me.

I couldn't be happier with this product! I am 41 and have very sensitive skin which is dry and prone to break outs, with very red cheeks. I had been using Neal's Yard frankincense serum and face cream, but it wasn't quite right for me and I didn't feel it was worth the money. Since I started using Ilex Wood around a week ago, my skin has been soft and supple, less red and less prone to break outs. I have started to notice that my face is less red too. I had a couple of lines appearing on my forehead and I do feel that they are less prominent now. The serum goes on very easily and I usually leave it for five minutes or so (whist I get dressed etc.) before applying the cream. The cream has more of a buttery / balmy texture and does feel quite oily initially. However, it soaks into my skin nicely and has proven to be a good base for make-up when I bother to wear any. A couple of times I have felt that the cream left my face a bit shinier than I desired, but after a few minutes I dabbed my face with tissue to remove the residue and my skin looked great all day. A little goes a long way with both products, so I can see them lasting well. Almost forgot - the smell is divine and I accidentally discovered that any oil residue on my hands after using the cream makes a great job of the ends of my hair too!

This is the fifth bottle of the rose and frankincense face oil I have bought and I love it. The consistency is perfect, the scent is not too overpowering, it makes my skin feel silky smooth and prevents my perimenopausal breakouts. I’ve always used the more expensive products that come in glass blue bottles but find this product superior to the more expensive one on the market. Thank you Holly for making such a lovely face oil. I have converted to your products permanently for the future!

The serum is lovely and light and smells beautiful but it's a facial oil. It sinks in and moisturises well. The face cream is more of a set oil balm. It's nice to use but it has a slight strange smell when I apply it that I don't like. The smell fades quickly and leaves a frankincense scent on the skin that's quite strong. I prefer the serum but I was looking for a lighter serum and cream combo to wear together and these are two oils that are very heavy when combined and my skin can be quite dry. I'm going to use the cream as a make up remover with a face cloth and a night cream and the serum as a day moisturiser under a light cream. The products are nice, natural and a good price for the quality. Just not quite what I was expecting.

I have never left a review before but I had too for this. This face cream set is magical. Ilex Wood must have access to the fountain of youth because despite its oily appearance, it leaves the skin nourished, glowy and radiant. I have very pale freckerly skin with occasional breakouts and struggle with dull, pasty skin. I am 29 years old and have been using for a week. If your worried about breaking out, don’t be. Run don’t walk to checkout. I had a few spots and acne scars before using which have disappeared. If the oilyness is putting you off, don’t let it. It is so rich and light all in one. Your skin will thank you later. THE OIL - you only need a drop of this sunshine in a bottle to glide over your skin and hydrate it. It will last a lifetime and works perfectly at keeping fake tan smooth and radiant. THE CREAM - this balmy textured butter is good vibes only and so worth the money. You need the smallest pea size to warm on your finger tips and smooth over your face. It does seem oily but soaks into dry skin so quickly when a small amount is used and my skin has never looked better. It literally leaves your skin GLOWING. As you only use a tiny bit, I can’t foresee ever having to replace the pot, unlike most other cheaper high street brands. The scent is divine, just from unboxing you are taken to peaceful bliss and popping the cream and oil on before bed is so relaxing. The dark circles under my eyes have really reduced and people have been complimenting how fresh my skin looks all week. Keeping this a little secret but for those that have found their own way to this magic, it’s only fair to get an honest review!

Bon produit, ayant une peau réactive avec certaines crèmes pour le visage j'ai voulu essayer celle ci Le serum, quelques gouttes suffisent La crème, etant une crème très epaisse il faut en mettre très peu, bien masser le visage doucement pour faire pénétrer la crème, elle semble grasse cependant elle est vite absorbée par la peau Résultat : aucune réaction, produit bien toléré et il est efficace, un parfum un peu forte à mon goût, mais s'estompe tres vite après application (cela reste un avis personnel ) A noter que le pot est bien rempli En résumé un produit efficace, narurel pour un petit prix que je ne peux que vous recommander

Ich habe super empfindliche Haut und schon viele Produkte ausprobiert und oft nicht vertragen. Diese Produkte tun meiner Haut richtig gut. Die Creme benutze ich Abends. Sie ist sehr fest, schmilzt dann aber auf der Haut. Das Serum benutze ich morgens als Tagespflege. Beides riecht sehr gut.
