Received through the post. It is made of plastic and then the gold is added on top. However, there were a lot of bare patches showing the plastic without even opening it. Very poor. Not good enough to put on the cake so sent back. That said, refund was processed without any question.

A bit pricey, but looks perfect on the cake. As well may be reused. Even the simplest cake can look perfect with this decoration.

My son is a New Year baby and he's too old for candles now so this is ideal for him and other older people. This is good quality and sturdy, as long as I remember where I've put it, it will do for many birthdays for years to come. I think it is quite expensive but it will last for years for the whole family's birthdays year after year, so in the long run it won't be too bad value. It is sturdy and looks really nice with the sparkle but it is still gender neutral, so suitable for anyone.
