Velleman DCA55 Semiconductor Analyzer

Great transistor analyzer. Gives readout for type, lead connection, gain ,voltage and leakage. Very handy instrument for making quick checks of semiconductors. Just what I needed for quick diagnostics.

This makes screening semiconductors so easy. It is a great device for the diy and would save pros much time in selecting and evaluating devices.

Work great for identifying the leads and parameters of transistors. Great for diodes, too.

I debated purchasing one of these due to the cost but finally did and it has been worth it so far. Very easy to use and great for finding the transistor pinout and hFE for my DIY guitar pedals.

This thing is pretty handy. Its a little pricey but if you use a lot of transistors like me its will be invaluable. The DCA55 is quick to determine if its a silicon or germanium, PNP or NPN transistor and gives you pinout, HFE, VBE, leakage and test current. For diodes its more straightforward giving you forward voltage, anode and cathode. For JFETs it essentially just gives you the pin out. I have not tested MOSFETs yet. One point of advice is to not hold the transistor or diode in your hands or fingers when testing because the heat will cause the transistor or diode to read higher than actual test values.

I like that it doesn't matter which leg of the transistor you connect the to the leads. The device will self identify them for you. M

This is a great tool if your working with Germanium Transistors. You can check the gain and leakage super easy. Works with Silicone Transistors also. Well worth the money if your on the fence about this item as i was at first, I say buy it!

J'ai mesuré quelques composants dont les JFET. La réponse de l'appareil : c'est un JFET et indique la Gate, c'est totalement insuffisant comme indication ! J'avais utilisé auparavant un DCA75 qui me donnait entièrement satisfaction. Je pensais que seul le transfert vers un PC faisait la différence. La notice est mensongère.

Si te dedicas a la electrónica debes tener varios comprobadores y tésters, incluso un osciloscopio, pero si no tienes un MUY BUEN comprobador de transistores, tienes un problema. El analizador de semiconductores Peak DCA55 analiza transistores de germanio y silicio, diodos, LEDs, MOSFETs, JFETs, etc... En electrónica es importantísimo obtener la ganancia y fuga de un transistor, ya que cuando se compran, aunque tengan la misma referencia, los valores son distintos y pueden variar mucho entre unos y otros, por eso es tan importante un analizador como éste.

Strumentino che consente di valutare i parametri dei semiconduttori non tutti esiste un modello superiore , avevo un modello ormai vecchio e un poco ingombrante questo è eccezionale lo uso nelle riparazioni su amplificatori lo consiglio

Nice getting a user manual, makes things much easier, this one does a little more though. The unit itself is very well made, good solid plastic and clear legible print. Make sure you discharge anything, especially capacitors, before connecting. The more I have used it the more I enjoy it.
