Bought this to add a folding counter top end on our rv island. Works great and is strong. It supports a lot of weight and locks. Great value.

Purchased 18" version for a foldable table top. The hinges are nice for the price. THere is NO WAY these hold 440lbs as stated. After installing one, I put about 50 lbs of force on the tip (max torque) of one of the brackets and the diagonal supports started to bend. Also, the holes to mount the brackets and the anchors provided are much to small given the weight rating. THe wood top supported by these brackets weights about 50 lbs. It folds smoothly and feels secure but I would not sit on or put more than 100 lbs on it. I drilled out the holes and used larger masonry block fasteners to secure to the wall.

These are heavy-duty! I used them for a folding workbench in my garage and they feel incredibly sturdy. The locking mechanism is very secure.

Very sturdy great price easy install, extend countertop when needed

Used these brackets for a recent project where I built an outdoor TV cabinet. The client wanted the ability to access the TV while providing a shade. I originally considered pistons but these were much more sturdy. Client is very happy and I'm definitely impressed with the quality and strength of these brackets. Will definitely use again.

Easy to install, easy to drop down or restore to a horizontal position. Once installed, I've kept it up, so that i can store alot underneath it as I have a small garage. GREAT purchase.
