This speaker is awesome and I am very happy after trying a couple of other brands for bluetooth speakers. Weight: It is very light. I bought another waterproof speaker before this one and it weighs twice as much. Waterproof: I did not dunk the speaker under water but I did use it in the shower and it had no problems being splashed. It seems to be waterproof as described. Style: I really like the style, it's very modern and fun to hold and look at. The rubber webbing that makes the case around it looks cool and it also is screwed in very securely with little screws rather than just being halfway molded to the side. Sound Quality: I'm pretty picky about my sound quality. I don't buy super high end audio equipment, but I can't stand cheap sound either. It has to be rich and full sounding and this one really is. And it actually gets loud enough. I use it in the car (because my bluetooth connection in the car is spotty) and I can hear it well with the windows down and the wind coming in. The other speaker I got I had to roll the windows up to hear the speaker even at full volume. Solar: Almost as an added bonus is the solar panel on top. I did not get the speaker only for this reason but I'm finding that I really love having it. I let the battery run down and instead of charging with the cable, I just used the sunlight, and after about 20 minutes in the sun, I was able to keep using the speaker for another whole day! I highly recommend this, it's great.

NOT WATER RESISTANT!!! it's partially built waster resistant, the battery and speakers are in a sealed section but the delicate electronics are not!! See pictures. You can clearly see a white gasket to seal the speaker side but no protection on the electronics side, not even any conformal coating on the PC board. You can see corrosion on the PC board from where a little moisture got into the speaker. I really wanted this to be a win. For the most part this is a good speaker, the rest is well built, solar actually works well, audio sounds "ok", but I needed this to take a splash or at least a misty rain 🌧️ but I doubt this speaker could withstand a humid day. 😔

3 year review, ive had three different family members buy this speaker after me. I listen to music on it every day over the years or at the least every other day. I charge this speaker once a month, if that, sometimes once every other month if it gets good sunlight! I have left it out in rain multiple days, dropped it in river while fishing, took it to the beach and sand is ultimate test but this speaker keeps going haha I love it, one of my best investments. If you turn it to 3/4 volume the battery will last forever, if you have it at full volume expect it to last awhile but you'll get the low battery warning which can be annoying until you leave it out to charge out in the sun. Has a light and charging port for charging phones while out on the go. My only complaint is that you have to press and hold the on button a little hard to get speaker to turn off or on but thats not even a big deal once you get used to it, the other buttons work flawless. I will not buy any other Bluetooth speaker, this speaker out performs most JBL speakers in sound and bass and for the price I'll buy another one of these speaker and hookup to both speakers with Bluetooth and out perform the $300 dollar Bluetooth speakers for a quarter of the price while its solar charging outside haha. Hope this helps, I dont feel the need to leave reviews unless item is worthy and repeatedly reminds me of it.

Good item

I got this speaker to leave by the hot tub. I got an old iphone with a waterproof case to connect to it. I've read other reviews saying the range is short. That may be true, but it may also be a function of your phone. Bluetooth can be fiddly. I always just leave our dedicated hot tub phone next to the speaker so it hasn't been an issue for me. The sound quality is pretty good. I wouldn't expect a speaker that size to be super loud, but for our hot tub needs it's more than enough. It's convenient that the speaker can charge the phone. We had a big rainstorm and the speaker stopped working and I was past the return window, but I thought I'd try contacting them and they were actually very prompt to send me a new one. If you're on the fence about this one, I'd say go for it.

I bought this for my outdoor pool area. It makes sense as it's "waterproof" and wireless it should be pretty easy to just leave it and forget it. When I received it, I placed it on my pool's spa shelf so I can hear my tv as the spa runs since they can be loud. But the problem is my TV's speakers are louder than the speaker and it's 16' away from my spa. The second problem is it rained one night and when I went to use the speaker, it wouldn't turn on. Somehow, water penetrated the speaker. I can understand the issue if the speaker got dropped into the water but to get rained on, I somewhat expect the device to be able to withstand that based on the description. To the company's credit, they did replace my unit but I now store it under cover when not in use to protect it from the elements and when I ever do splash it, I make a mad dash to dry it off immediately out of fear it won't work. The last issue I have with it is the speaker's grates rust. I'm not sure why they would use a rusting material for a supposedly waterproof device except for cheaper parts but once water touches those, you better be quick to dry it off or expect this to develop rust spots on its exterior.

I have used this as speaker for three days straight at least 8-10 hrs a day. It only dropped to 50% power. Charges under solar very well (slowly) can even stick it under LED Bulbs (within 8inches) and it indicates it is charging. Sounds very clear and handy for all day use. It could use a little more bass. Built pretty solid and will charge even when cloudy. I used it for 3 days outside to try the solar charging while using and on 3rd night plugged it to power source and it still had 75% power indicated. Flashlight use handy and as using it as power charge for cell. Recommend for outdoor use camping, hiking ..etc

Questa radio é molto bella, é la seconda volta che l'acquisto, la batteria funziona a lungo e si ricarica molto bene al sole. Piace molto anche ai bambini piccoli vista la morbidezza della custodia, non presenta rischi ed é molto resistente. La lucina integrata non é mai stata usata. Si può sia ascoltare la musica che rispondere al telefono. Il suo prezzo varia spesso, la si può trovare a 60 € o a 30€

J'avais acheté la même il y a 2 ans et demi (sans la fonction PowerBank), je ne l'ai rechargé que deux fois pendant tout ce temps : une fois au déballage, et une fois en plein hiver quand il faisait gris et nuageux pendant des semaines (pour info elle marche toujours très bien, elle a même résisté à une chute de 2m sur du béton). Cette enceinte se recharge toute seule : il suffit de la laisser traîner près d'une fenêtre ou mieux, en plein soleil. Un voyant vert indique que le panneau débite, même à l'ombre ! ça c'est pour un usage haut-parleurs. Évidement si on tire sur la batterie pour recharger un téléphone, il faudra la remettre en charge par le port USB en 5V 1A max (Un voyant rouge indique que la batterie se charge). le panneau solaire délivrant 220 mAh en plein soleil, il faut donc 5 fois plus de temps pour la charger par le panneau solaire que par le port USB. Elle peut donc servir à recharger une ou deux fois un téléphone, lentement, si vous avez pensé à emmener le cordon microUSB fourni, ce même cordon qui sert à la recharger sur un chargeur. Mais vu la limitation (1A et 5000 mAh), ce n'est pas sa fonction principale, car si vous videz la batterie, il vous faudra toute la nuit pour la charger au secteur, ou sinon une semaine au soleil ! A force de la laisser cuire au soleil, le panneau solaire pèle, la première couche de plastique s'opacifie et se désintègre. Rien de grave mais pour éviter ça, passez un peu de produit protégeant des UV sur le panneau solaire, genre ArmorAll. Sinon, le son est très bon : par le Bluetooth on a de la qualité MP3, par le cordon audio c'est sans limite de qualité. Il y a une lampe qui fait le boulot. Usage idéal de cette enceinte : posée au soleil près de la piscine, elle diffuse la musique provenant du téléphone posé à l’abri un peu plus loin et connecté en bluetooth. Elle ne craint ni les chocs ni les éclaboussures, et permet même de prendre des appels téléphoniques (bouton de prise d'appel et de fin de conversation, micro intégré). Pour contrôler la musique, on peut mettre en pause et relancer, monter et baisser le son, passer à la piste suivante ou précédente. Deux sangles velcro sont fournies (pour la fixer sur un vélo), c'est bien mais ça couvre en partie le panneau solaire et réduit sa capacité, donc préférez des élastiques. Une petite sangle dépasse d'un côté avec un mousqueton : très pratique, attachez TOUJOURS le mousqueton au cadre du vélo, avec un anneau de ficelle par exemple.

I like how loud it is, it charged my phone too, a feature I didn’t notice when buying, the wires supplied are a little short, but are universal so I swapped them for longer ones, but handy if you don’t own any tech stuff! Great little speaker I’m sure teens and adults would find beneficial
