Great quality. Hold up well
Nephew is in a hard rock band. Brutal on the drum sticks! LOL. But Vics hold up well to the abuse. They are all he uses.

Best drum sticks you can buy. I prefer the 5B. These are high quality, nice weight and thickness.

Good sticks.
Arrived quickly, sticks were straight, pitch-paired, and felt good to swing. Are now serving well for their intended use. Vic Firth sticks and mallets are top-rate. I would be very disappointed if their quality ever slipped.

What can you say? They're Vic Firth sticks. I have played 5A's for many years but after finding out Virgil Donati uses the 5B's I thought to give them a try. Stick is a bit thicker but not bad at all. Has a lot of meat on the shoulder for lots of crash cymbal work [if that's your bag]. Nice feel and power. Personally like the slightly heavier stick. You won't go wrong with ANY Vic Firth stick!

Crack and break with heavy use
My kiddo is 10 and he is an amazing drummer. These have lasted longer than some other brands but my dude plays daily sometimes multiple times a day. The breakage could be due to rim strikes since he is short but he doesn’t do that often. Overall a decent product just know if you like to reeeeally jam they might break 🤷🏼♀️
