It’s really worth for first time travellers, as free wifi may not be accessible in few airports (I had faced an issue at IAD) It’s easy to install and technical support for activation from seller is very good over WhatsApp and Amazon email message system Just share the required documents with seller and activation date - insert the SIM after landing at US, that’s it you all set to receive and make a call to all US and India numbers for 30 days unlimited and 1GB data 👏🏻 if you intend to chek the activation in India, it may be difficult as there will be no roaming activated! Jus follow instructions from seller 👍🏻

Excellent but activation process not mentioned in the classified information nor in any instruction with the sim delivery. We were lucky to keep the envelope which had phone number and email that we could use to send passport copies for activation. Its a great value for money SIM card and post sales contact is also good but bit careless seller who should give atleast one printed sheet while packing the SIM card for delivery to inform how to activate the SIM card.

The delivery was easy and so it’s very good and also the activation process is very easy you have to send few documents to their whatsapp number provided with the SIM card and they will activate it

I got the sim the next day itself and when I called the toll free they asked us to share my passport copy and visa and it took a day to get activated. But the customer service people get connected only working hrs 9am to 5pm..it worked perfect when I landed in usa. Thanks!

Struggling to get it activated

I have been with Lycamobile since 2013. I started using it in Georgia, and am now using it in Missouri. Interestingly enough I did not lose service during the move across several states. Their price is ridiculously low for what one gets. Occasionally, when I go out into the countryside I get a tiny hic up. All I have to do is turn my phone off and back on again, and all is well again. It's usually due to network towers change in some areas. LOVE Lycamobile. Why everyone isn't using them already is beyond me.

Vor Abflug hatte ich Probleme, die Karte zu aktivieren. Ich war mir bei dem Code nicht ganz sicher und bekam erst keine Bestätigungsmail, aber beim 2. Mal klappte es problemlos. Konnte durchaus an meiner Haarfarbe gelegen haben. Ich machte eine Rundreise über 3,5Wochen durch die USA und benutzte die Karte vom 1. bis zum letzten Tag an. Zum Ende bekam ich eine SMS, dass sich der Dienst ab dannunddann verlängern würde, außer man schicke eine SMS mit dem Code "soundso" (weiß ich nicht mehr). Ich hab überall problemlos damit telefonieren und ins Internet gehen können. Okay teilweise war der Dienst eingeschränkt, weil an demunddem Ort zB nur AT&T verfügbar war oder ich im Indianerreservat war und da niemand Netz hatte, aber die Karte würde ich definitiv jedem empfehlen, der über Mobilfunk in den USA telefonieren und ins Internet muss und teure Angebote von deutschen Mobilfunkanbietern meiden möchte.

Lyca does prepaid roaming. Sim card was delivered to my address in UK in 2 days and I activated it right away and I AM BUZZING 🧚‍♂️🧚‍♂️🤸‍♂️🤸‍♂️🤸‍♂️🤸‍♂️. I RECOMMEND 💯 YOU WONT REGRET.

Kein Stern! Also ich bin jetzt seit zwei Tagen in den Staaten, am Flughafen angekommen, lief das erstmal prima. Installationspaket bekommen, installiert. Anruf nach Deutschland erfolgreich getätigt. Mobiles Internet hat funktioniert. Weiter zum nächsten Flughafen. Telefonie und SMS in den USA, wunderbar, ebenso Internet. Dann, am nächsten Tag, nichts ging mehr. Hatte zum Glück kurz W-Lan, also schnell eine Email an TravSim geschrieben. Über Nacht wieder W-Lan-, bzw. Telefonie-los. Heute wieder W-Lan. In der Antwortmail stand nur, dass sie keine Garantie geben für flächendeckende Netzabdeckung. Anbei ein Link zur Netzkarte. Nun, da wo ich mich gerade befinde ist ein LTE Gebiet. Also hab ich vor 4-5 Stunden noch eine Email geschrieben, dass sie wieder das Installationspaket schicken sollen oder was auch immer. Aber bisher keine Antwort. Anrufen kann ich ja schlecht... Ich bin hier gerade etwas aufgeschmissen, denn W-Lan habe ich nicht mehr lange. Ich werde mir wohl eine Karte eines anderen Anbieters kaufen müssen. Sehr ärgerlich. Einmal und nie wieder!
