Lovely, well made horsehair brush for leather, I use it for purse cleaning.
Cleans my leather purses and a leather chair beautifully!! The quality of this brush and softness of the bristles, will remind you either of an equestrian tact room for the saddles, or an old fashioned gentleman’s shoe shiner. This brush is so well made, and gentle in my hand, it was easy to use to clean my purses. They turned out beautiful, so the effectiveness of the brush and the leather cleaner was worth every penny! It arrives in a very nice storage box. If you take proper care of your brush, you’ll be able to pass it onto the next generation.

Bristle shedding.
I bought this shoe brush hoping for an effective tool for polishing and brushing off dust, but unfortunately, I'm quite disappointed. The brush is supposed to be made of horsehair, but I'm not entirely sure if it actually is, though I’ll assume it is. The biggest issue I've encountered is that the bristles fall out excessively during use. This makes a huge mess, and it seems to happen every time I use it. I’ll keep using it to see if the shedding improves with time, but as of now, it’s not ideal. Given the quality, I can't recommend this brush. It might work for some, but for me, it was a letdown. For anyone else considering it, I’d advise looking elsewhere. If you're willing to spend a bit more for something better (I’d be willing to pay more than the $12 I spent on this one), you might find a more reliable option. I’ll update my review if the shedding issue stops, but for now, I’m sticking with 2 stars. After some initial use, the bristle shedding has subsided, so I'm updating my review. I now find this brush to be adequate, especially considering the price. It's a good option, but keep in mind that the initial use can be quite messy.

It’s a brush’
Dear Cobbler’s Choice, I don’t know how to review this brush for ya. It’s a brush that I use for my Goodyear welted boots. I own 3 of these brushes. One in natural wood for my lighter colored boots like my Grant Stone Diesel’s in Dune/Natural cxl. One in brown for my Grant Stone Ottawa’s in crimson cxl and a pair of Thursday Captains in Arizona Adobe. One in black for my Grant Stone, Beckett Simonon, and Thursday black cxl boots. This way I have a good brush for every color of leather and won’t mix and match for the most part. I like the brushes because the horsehair is thick and the brush is large so it will cover a lot of surface area when brushing my boots after each wear or when it’s time to polish again or condition them. I have a cheap brush to just get muck off the boots before I use the CC brushes to polish my boots. It is what it is. I don’t think there would be any bad brushes out there but in the beginning or using these brushes some of the horsehair would fall out but it stopped falling out within a few times of usage. I have no complaints because I don’t know how to complain about a horse-haired brush. Lol.

If You Are Looking for a Good, Quality, Shoe Brush... This is it!
I purchased two of these horsehair shoe brushes, one for my brown shoes and one for my black shoes. I haven't used the brown one yet... but the brush for polishing the black shoes has performed well. It effectively removed the excess shoe cream or paste that I applied to the shoes during the shine process. I haven't noticed any bristles falling out during use. It works well and I would make the purchase again... but I believe that these brushes will give me years of use.

The product is really awesome. It’s bristles, ergonomic and coverage area made the shoe shining process much easier. The ease this product has given in shining the shoes has never been felt before.
