AmazonBasics Extra Large Cat Condo Tree Tower with Dual Caves - 29.5 x 22 x 78 Inches, Beige

Incredibly stable and great product for the price. I was worried before buying it based on the price and the dimensions, "surely for this price is going to be flimsy" and I'm glad to report it is not! Previous cat trees of similar price range were with 1-2 inch scratching/support poles. When getting up above 12" in height a slinder rod like that can hardly be stable for a cat who wants to sit on top, and forget jumping. This tree has study tube construction of about 3in diameter posts, which gives each platform the stability our furry friend needs as he goes on his nightly possessed cat sprints through the house leaping on everything. It barely moves when he attacks it. I'm happy to report that it is efficiently built with strong cheap material like MDF and tubes, rather than using less than adiquate small wooden rods and cloth condos as previous trees had used. The MDF platforms are made of about 3/4in thick wood. Assembly was easy and it was simple to switch a few of the posts of same length around so we could put the scratch ones in front since we put it in the corner. We did have a shipping mishap that caused one of the platforms to be broken in transit and Amazon refunded me the full amount immediately without any problems. I was able to repair the damage, but they were willing to ship a new one without any delay for those who may not be as handy.

I was worried when I bought this because what if my kitten didn't like it, or didn't use it as a scratching area and keeps using my couch ;( BUT HE LOVED IT. He started scratching the base as soon as I pulled it out of the box, and it was super easy to put together, even with him jumping up on each level and playing inside the box areas as I was trying to screw it together. I put it together by myself, it wasn't hard at all, no extra tools necessary. The directions were a little interesting, lots of little lines jutting our to point to what screw to use, but all the points come together on the photo of the cat tree on one big blob so... you kinda guess but if I can put it together anyone can ;) Great quality, seems sturdy, Oliver runs at it and climbs it like a tree not even using the levels, it doesn't move at all. The only thing is there's one more level that's supposed to be at the very top, but it was too tall for my condo so I just didn't put it on.

The basic cat tree arrived today and I put it together right away. My cat took to it right away. It went together easily despite the instructions that require a magnifying glass to read. They are easy instructions, just hard to read. All of the parts were obviously and carefully marked to include the screws and attachments making it easy to follow the instructions. The "ladder" is being used as a fourth leg on the bottom. I would have preferred a fourth leg because after the second tier was attached the unit is a little tippy. The round cat house is a good size but only has one screw holding it to the bottom tier, and it did not attach tightly. I will probably screw a couple of small holes and add some additional fasteners. The provided screw also came up into the carpet on the inside of the house. The screw is blunt so I put a blanket inside to cover it. I did not attach the third tier because of the little bit of tipsiness. The materials come with one strap and screw to attach the unit to the wall but it would take more than one strap to attach it without an accident pulling this away from the wall and leaving some craters. It is fine in the corner. I only have one cat but I would take care if there was more than one cat and they play hard. My cat already had steps to reach his favorite window. Now he uses them to climb up on the tower. The pieces are well made and covered with a soft carpet that will be easy to clean. Unlike other units I have put together there were no staples or rough surfaces marring the surfaces. It does not include any rope toys but I can add those once I finalize how it will sit in the corner. Overall it is of good quality. If some of the construction glitches were adjusted, I would rate it excellent.

This product did not work until I fixed it. It went together perfectly within an hour of arriving, on time by the way. Very sturdy even without the wall anchor. So it sits there for days and days, but will the cats play on it? NO! The only way this product will work at all is if you NEVER even let the cats see the box it comes in and toss that box immediately, other wise they will show no interest in this well built play stand. I benefited from new and improved assembly info, pay attention to them for a solid assembly.And toss the shipping box, the cats will only miss it for a little while. GLAD I SPENT THE BIG BUCKS ON THIS

We received this quickly. I was concerned I wouldn’t be able to put it together because I’m a complete moron when it comes to assembling things. Luckily it was so simple. We had it put together in about five minutes, and the cat instantly loved it. It is very sturdy and well worth the money. He’s quit climbing the curtains and doors now that he has his own magical palace. Definitely recommend.

Update: it would have been nice if the top part of it hadn’t broken off about 4 weeks after I got it. I put it back on, and it fell off again a few weeks later. The plastic cap inside the cardboard tube broke. As my headline says - cats love it while it lasts, but it is very not durable. I bought this on prime day, and assembled it the night it arrived, which by my count means my cats have had it for more than two, but less than three weeks. As you can see, the soft fuzzy cloth covering one of the bottom poles is already shredded, with the pressed wood showing through. That was done by the kitten in < 3 weeks. The top platform is a bit rocky, but it wasn’t intended to be very durable, and I think when my 4 year old climbed up and sat on it, it made it rockier. It was quite easy to assemble; I’m not sure how long it will be until I’m assembling another, hopefully more durable, model.

Instructions were ok but I managed to put two posts in the wrong places on the base and then nothing would fit on top, but once this was remedied it fitted together well and easily. I did this alone and it only took about 15 mins including the correction above! The tower I must confess was much sturdier than I had expected and the cat bed area is a solid construction. The platform that only has one support pole is a bit wobbly if my cat goes mad but is ok otherwise. However my cat only weighs 2.5Kg and although I think this tree is fine for her, I suspect anything above 3.5Kg would make this one platform very much more unstable, although the rest of the tree will probably withstand a larger cat. All in all I am very please with my purchase and my cat absolutely loves in and sits on the top platform frequently, surveying the garden! it is value for money, it is a good quality construction, strong and sturdy enough for my cat, and will I'm sure it last a good long while. So I do highly recommend (it subject to weight limitations).

J'ai monté le meuble en quelques minutes à peine. C'est vraiment bien fait et facile à assembler. Ma chatte a tout de suite aimé la grotte. Elle allait se coucher là pendant de longues heures. Le tissu est en peluche. Très beau tissu, vraiment doux et douillet. Vraiment belle apparence. Ma chatte aime aussi jouer avec la balle suspendue sous la tablette du haut. Elle grimpe aussi souvent sur la tablette du haut pour se rendre au bord de la fenêtre du salon. Ce meuble est vraiment bien agencé à mon mobilier de salon, blanc cassé, beige-crème. C'est un meuble décoratif en même temps. Meuble de qualité que je recommande pour les chats. Le seul point défaut est que ma chatte ne s'en sert pas vraiment comme grattoir. Mais je ne regrette pas du tout mon achat. Ce meuble a différentes fonctions. J'en ai eu pour mon argent. Ma chatte va plus facilement vers des morceaux de carton étendus par terre ou des boîtes de carton pour faire ses griffes. Je recommande ce produit absolument. Livraison très rapide aussi.

A mi gato le encanto, es bastante mas grande de lo que esperaba y llego al siguiente día que lo ordene. Me quede encantado de la gran calidad que tiene y que fuera tan sencillo de armar.

The package was a lil delayed but the product is 100% amazing. I read some reviews that said it isn't sturdy but let me tell you it's is very sturdy. The people who wrote that may not have tightened it properly. If you tighten the screws well, it is very sturdy and secure. They provide an "l" shaped panel for that. The instructions were very clear to assemble. We took barely 15-30 mins to assemble. We were two people. One person can do it easily too but you need strength to Tighten the screws properly to its max level such that it doesn't move further. The fabric is of good quality the jute strings and also helpful for cats to stretch. The strong on the topmost shelf is my kitten's favourite as you can see in the video. My cats immediately accepted it and loved it. The colour is decent. It's a light cream/beige which can go with any decor. I got a great deal cz I only got it for 4699. It was available for less but i delayed ordering and the price changed. So if you're getting a good deal this is an amazing product for your feline babies
