Outputs true stereo sound
The media could not be loaded. The Peavey BTS 2.2 outputs true stereo sound and is the perfect external speaker for the Nintendo Switch Lite or Switch in handheld mode. It also has Bluetooth connectivity so you can use your computer, smart phone, or tablet with it. The only drawbacks are that it usesa mini USB for charging and it aluminum speaker drivers, so it won't sound as good as something with better speakers such as a Bose SoundLink. Has an SD card slot and a standard USB input so you can listen to music stored on those devices.

Exactly what I wanted!
I bought this for pairing with my iPad or iPod touch. We listen to a lot of Internet radio for channels that we don't have great reception to in my area. It's absolutely awesome to just grab this, turn it on and out comes the music. No cables, power supplies or other hassles. Great for use in the kitchen too if you have a kitchen lacking extra outlets like we do.Sound quality is excellent to my ears. For $60 I didn't expect Bose-quality sound, and that's good because it's not as good as a Bose sound dock, but still it's quite powerful for its size and I love that I can plug other devices into it or use an SD card or thumb drive if I wanted to travel even lighter and have all my music on one of those.I've been hoping somebody would make something like this for a long time. Fits my needs perfectly.

Cheap and poor sound quality
I was looking for an alternative to my laptop speakers that I could use to listen to music louder while working. I wasn't expecting this unit to be as small as it is. That being said, I purchased it because it had decent reviews, and after listening to it for 15 minutes I decided I wanted to return it.The case feels cheap and poorly manufactured. The LED lights to indicate power, charging, and Bluetooth are inside and hidden behind a clear face ring. It wasn't really clear to me if the unit was on or not because the charge light (red) and Bluetooth light (blue) come on at the same time and wash each other out.The sound quality is pretty average. I wasn't expecting Harmon Kardon quality, but the highs were really thin and the bass was a bit lacking. I couldn't even turn it up that loud. These would be great for tailgating, camping, etc. for connecting to your smartphone - but they aren't very good as an alternative to laptop speakers.

Versatile, good sound, lasts hours...
Nice sound with decent bass for such a small speaker. Even at full volume the sound was still crisp and did not get muddy or crack. Perfect for the back yard, on the deck, by the pool, and for camping. Very versatile being that it can play music using USB drives, memory cards, bluetooth, and 3.5mm jack. Used it for 4 hours straight streaming Pandora via bluetooth from my tablet at moderate volume and gave no indications that the battery was going to die anytime soon.Have owned and used Peavey amps in the past and always thought they made solid equipment. This little speaker lives up to Peavey's quality and name.

Turns my BOSE sound system into a Bluetooth receiver!
I purchased this device simply for the reason of making my old BOSE Acoustic WAVE system, with excellent sound but no wireless capabilities into a wireless speaker for my iPad and iPhone. This is the only Bluetooth speaker I am aware of with a headphone port that can be used to turn this speaker into an AUX sound source for the BOSE system. BOSE sells a Bluetooth adapter for $100 and it needs to be plugged into AC. This provides a battery-driven alternative that works very well.

Peavey BTS 2.2 REVIEW
I compared this speaker against the models under $200 from Bose, JBL, Logitech, Sharkk, and other brand names too new to figure out if they will be around for as long as JBL, BOSE, Logitech and Peavey.PROS:I love that there were 5 features:1. I can use an SD card with my songs2. I can use an external 3.5mm auxilary cable3. I can use the bluetooth mode for streaming my audio through it4. I can use my USB flashdrives with this device5. I can use the earphone jack with my regular headset.CONS:1. Bluetooth 4.0 should have been on this device it's only 2.0 so you get 33ft a loss of an additonal 15ft+ with Bluetooth 4.02. Peavey used a miniUSB port and not microUSB port which is the norm now.3. 850mAh battery and not one above 2500mAh4. USB and SD card that can be used are maxed out at 32GB. I would have love to use at least 64GB.Sound quality blows the Beats pill and more expensive Logitech EU miniboom the bass, midrange and treble sounds pretty good. You may not have the speakerphone feature with this, but I am yet to find someone who has a bluetooth speaker for a year who has used this feature for calls.I am happy with my choice, I use the SD card feature a lot! I fit the following discographies on one 32GB SD card and play them on this device:Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Boston, Bee Gees, Sting, The Police, English Beat, Pat Metheny Group and Sergio Mendes and the Beach Boys. That is a lot of music!

Sound quality could be better
Sound quality isn't the best but built well. Connects easily and the headphone jack is helpful. Seems like it will hold up
