I feel its a good computer defence program to protect our computer from online and offline offences. Not too much complex to use for a non technical person, like me. It is also provided with a limited 200MB daily VPN access, which is too low. It should be atleast 500 MB daily. Otherwise its ok. But this program asks for every permission to get deep into your system's windows. I don't know it is trustworthy or not. Today, everything is being tracked this way or that way. I am putting my trust in Bitdefender company that my every data remains in hands of good people instead of scammers.

I purchased 3 device subscriptions. The antivirus leaves u vulnerable on many aspects. Tried it with random malwares which it wasn't able to detect. The biggest F....d up part of this app is that the features like anti-theft cannot even track your existing static IP address. On top of most of it support centre sucks, as every time you go for chat support they end support by stating you have contact US chat support. Despite the fact I am using chat support from web dashboard or app itself. Since I have made the purchase of APP in India and if they have decentralised support for India then the app should by default connect me to Indian chat support. Update Dear Bit defender support team, If you want even I can write lengthy and much more direct elaborated responses. Here they are; 1. The support staff actually lacks the competency to debug their own product, and understand diagnostic logs. All they ask is to turn of all the features and turn them up one by one to see which particular module is causing problem. I have done it multiple times again and again, their US team along with Microsoft support team did it. their support team has a succumbed and limited mind set; this is now opened as known issue and soon Microsoft will also be approaching them for issue on blocking windows updates. Antivirus work on very simple principle where set of codes (definitions) define the parameters for an unknown code to be categorised safe and unsafe. However, in practical application it is much more complicated which not only involves definitions but also involves heuristics. Most of the antivirus obtain definitions and other crucial data to identify the malware or virus, from public databases issued by many agencies, while some good companies have their dedicated R and D teams to work open new proprietary codes based on the information send back by their apps/users by default. However, this work completely depends on number of events detected for a particular code. It is not uncommon that many of top reputed brands have actually have given false positive and false negatives. For example AVG damaged Microsoft windows 64bit OS, while Sophos identified itself as malware, and there are many more cases sky rocketing news.
