Great wee brush

Lovely quantity of bristles, but hard to clean, and bulky handle
This brush is effective for brushing my dog, a JRT with short bristled hair but with very thick hair in places. My only concern is that cleaning the brush is very difficult and there were no instructions in the best technique to clean it. I presume it would be easier with longer hair dogs (I'd guess hair would clump together), but with a short haired dog, the hair simply hides in the bristles rather than clumping. The handle and back of the brush are quite thick, I was surprised by how large it was since I bought a puppy brush for the sole purpose of using it on a miniature JRT. As a result it was hard to brush belly and chest sometimes. The bristles are straight and thick-ish but very soft and rather flexible, and the quantity of bristles is absolutely wonderful, wish all brushes were as thick as this one! Softness is really nice so definitely recommend if you are concerned about using it on puppies or dogs with sensitive skin. Trying to pull out individual strands is infuriating sometimes, so if you have a short haired dog, I'd recommend getting a comb, and only get this product as a softer back up, or if your dog gets particularly dusty from a yard or dry dirt path which I'm sure it would be great for.

Cat loves it
Bought this for our cat and she loves it. Nice quality. Gentle but still works without being harsh.

Good as a training resource
The brush is ok at best as just a brush. However, it’s very gentle compared to other dog brushes so it’s helping to rain our dog to get used to grooming.
