Delicious
I bought this before looking at the reviews. I had never even thought of canned salmon. Once I did check the reviews, the one stars got me concerned. When it arrived it took me awhile to open up a can, trying to forget the reviews. I had researched some recipes. Once I finally opened a can, it smelled great. I took a small bite, and then proceeded consumed the whole can. The recipe I selected was a can opener. The one stars reviews talked about having bones & skin in the can. The bone disappeared as you chew it. The bones are like eating a cracker, they just crumble into nothing. And fish bones are very good for you. The skin is very good for you too and I don’t even notice the skin. I’m on can 9/12. Same quality each time. Bottom line, it’s healthy food, no man made issues. It’s in my top 3 meals and I don’t even have to wash a dish, just a fork.

GOOD.. price, snap eligible and tasty
The product comes well wrapped ..but on occasion will get dented. It's reasonably priced and snap eligible (you have your choice )of with the skin and bones OR without.. I eat this and I also give it to my dogs with their food occasionally because it's healthy for them.. Quick delivery,, inexpensive and tasty

The Best Canned Salmon for Patties
Years ago, salmon patties were a culinary delight and were even offered at some upscale restaurants. They were usually served topped with creamed peas back in the day. My Mom jumped onboard the fad and we enjoyed salmon patties at least once a week. I've rediscovered my love of salmon patties recently, and have gone through quite a few different brands of canned salmon before trying the Bumble Bee brand. In my opinion, it's the best for making them. The texture is perfect and is not "mushy" like some others. If you've never used canned salmon it can be a little off putting the first time (I was used to it by watching my Mom in the old days), but just drain and remove it from the can and if you want you can clean it up a little by pulling whatever little pieces of skin, etc. remain and get rid of that. You can get over any unsure feelings by imagining how great it's going to taste! I use all including the bones (there are only the tiny little round backbone ones, they are not sharp, and melt away) and my recipe is pretty simple - crumble the salmon in a bowl, add salt and pepper and any seasonings you like, squeeze in half of lemon, add a small sleeve of crushed Ritz crackers (has to be Ritz) and one large egg. Mix up and form into patties, heat some extra light olive oil in a skillet, then fry until golden on both sides. Serve with more lemon wedges. So simple but VERY yummy!

great canned salmon, but amazon shipped me four severely damaged cans unsafe to eat.
excellent canned salmon: contains both the skin and pressure-cooked bones, which respectively contain fish oil and calcium .... [i've ordered these several times, but unfortunately, this last order looks like amazon sent me the last cans in their inventory, all four of which were severely dented and unsafe to eat and should never have been shipped] ...

Non-perishable and large portion
Standard size can holds enough salmon for a big meal. The quality of the Salmon isn't best/not all clean salmon meat, but for the price it is a great deal.

Healthy Delicious Meal Affordable Meal
If you want a delicious meal, mix a can of this salmon, a few tablespoons of cracker or bread crumbs, an egg, minced onion, a little cilantro or dill, your favorite spices and salt, form into patties and fry till golden. Drain off most of the oil, heat up peas or pea sized pieces of asparagus, sprinkle with a tablespoon or so of flour for a minute or so, add milk and make a creamy sauce. Serve over patties, delicious! A meal for three or four for less than $5,

Versatile healthy protein.
I love Bumble Bee Canned Pink Salmon. Not really salty. I eat it with crackers for a snack or I lightly cook it with tomatoes and onions for a main course. Goes well with whole wheat pasta and vegetables for a one pot meal, it's versatile.
