Fits my Google P7P with its otterbox on!
I am super skiddish about taking my phone out of its case! It would be just my luck to fall as soon as I do. This makes it difficult to find a teipod mounting attachment that will fit my large phone and especially with its case on. I have a Google Pixel 7 Pro and an otterbox protective case (i think the defender series) that makes its deminsions, case included, 6-7/8"(tall) x 3-1/2"(wide) x 7-1/2"(diagonal). And this adapter, tripod mount, attachment actually fits across the width of my phone in its otterbox. The 1st and only one that i have found, in my price range, that can accommodate my phone in its case. But, even more impressive than the fact that it fits, is that my phone is secure in it! It feels very stable and has a strong grip on my phone. And even though I slip it on the bottom half of the phone (as opposed to directly in the mid section) it holds it securely and the extra weight of it being " top heavy", for lack of a better term, does not effect the stability of the grip (i put it across the bottom half of my phone in order to avoid clamping down over the volume &/or power buttons). I think the amazing grip and stability is due, in large part, because the actual padded grips themselves have an angle to them that i dont see with other brands. They come from under and up around to the front and up and over the top around to the front, not allowing for any wobble. There is no chance tht the pressure that the holder exerts on the phone will inadvertently squeeze and eject the phone out of it like other brands have done. I recomend this phone holder, tripod mount thing to anyone who wants a secure way to atrach thier phone, in a case or not, big or smaller, to a 1/4 screw type attachable accessory. U will have peace of mind and beable to focus on whatever u are doing instead of worrying about how securly attached u phone is. For me, it allows me to focus on my subject that I am taking a picture/video rearranging the subject and then taking another shot of it in a timely mannor without wasting time and energy to make sure my phone is secure and ready to go. Buy it, use it, and love it. U won't regret it!

Great clamp for a smartphone - dual mount is excellent
This is a totally decent smartphone clamp - others have said that it's plasticky, and while it's true that it is made of plastic, it's robust enough for my use, and I don't feel like it's going to break any time soon. I gave it 4 stars for durability because of this, but that might be unfair - normal use is not going to damage it. Best feature of this clamp compared to others is that there are two positions to mount it on your tripod, so you can easily switch between vertical and horizontal for your phone. There's also a cold-shoe on the top of the mount when it's in the horizontal position, useful for holding a mic or a light. Being able to lock the clamp in place is a nice feature, but I don't find myself using it often - the spring force is more than enough. Overall a totally decent item, which I'd recommend.

Reliable Brand, but Smartphone Clamp Has Durability Concerns
Reliable Brand, but Smartphone Clamp Has Durability Concerns Manfrotto is known for its quality products, and overall, I find their Universal Smartphone Clamp to be a solid accessory. The clamp has a great feature that allows you to securely lock your phone in place, which gives me peace of mind knowing that my device won’t slip out, even during more active shooting sessions. It feels sturdy when in use and provides a secure hold, making it a dependable choice for photography and videography. However, there are some concerns about the clamp’s durability. The design could be improved, as I’ve noticed that the clamp itself seems a bit fragile, and I worry that with regular use, it could easily break or snap off, especially if handled roughly. While it hasn’t happened to me yet, I can see this being a potential flaw for others who use it frequently or for those who need something that can withstand heavier usage. Overall, it’s a good product from a trusted brand, but the durability of the clamp could use some improvement to match the reliability Manfrotto is known for.

Works so well, I now have 3 of these Smartphone Clamps
I love Manfrotto Tripods, and it is no surprise that their smartphone clamp is now my go to. I use one on top of my Osmo Action to hold my phone, which I sometimes use as an extra screen for the Osmo, or so I can take videos or photos with the Iphone when I need a closer shot. It holds my phone securely, and is very durable. Easy to use and has a Shoe mount on the top! Woot! I use the shoe mount for my external microphones, and it has made my video creation just a few steps easier. I use one to hold my phone with is my down camera for videoing my ipad. The other holds my phone while I video tape, or my camera depending on my needs. Now that being said, it is not going to hold it if someone bumps into you running and so be aware it is not holding the corners. But for my needs, this is the one!

Tired of cheapies? Get this!
I got fed up with using the little cheap smartphone clamp included with an octopus tripod I got a while back. I went ahead and got this, and no surprise, it's a quality product. It is robust feeling and grips your phone solidly with a soft rubber material that won't scratch it. There's also a locking mechanism that holds it in place and prevents accidental slips. My only complaint is that it doesn't work with my main K&M Concept tripod; the tripod mount isn't deep enough so it doesn't screw in all the way and ends up dangling around about a centimeter off the release plate. It works with another tripod I have. If you've had any issues like this in the past with anything else be aware.

Used To Be
I have a Manfrotto tripod that is older and it is heavy duty, and a well engineered product from Italy. I bought this PIXI Clamp thinking that it would still be manufactured in Italy. Nope. Made in China. Any decent phone mount made in China is much cheaper than this product. Unless you are most interested in the brand name, don't waste the extra money that you will spend on this clamp.

Parfait pour l'usage que j'en fais. J'imagine cependant qu'à force de manipulations, la pince finira par lâcher comme la précédente qui a bien tenu le coup malgré la brutalité avec laquelle je la malmenais... :)

An absolute delight. I use a Samsung s10 with UAG plasma case. I had already tried two different clamps. The phone with case is very thick and still this one managed to clamp it in a secure way. I am using this with the Pixi Evo 2 and this is a wonderful addition to my smartphone photography gear. Highly recommended, the price is justified .. .
