San Francisco Bay Coffee - Medium-Dark Roast - Fog Chaser (28 oz bag) - Ground Coffee

I've gone on an iced coffee kick, and so have needed good quantities of ground coffee with which to make it. I like the SF Bay Fog Chaser coffee because it's a mellow, yet nutty roast coffee that doesn't taste under or overdone in terms of roasting. The strength from when I made a pot of French press coffee from it was quite good, with a pleasant aroma and nice dark brown color. The bag i received was well-sealed and the coffee inside it definitely fresh. Would buy again, especially when on sale.

Great product, good flavor

We've been fans of San Francisco Bay Coffee for 15+ years. We love in particular your Fog Chaser, roasted coffee. About 6 years ago, we switched to grinding our coffee. Prior, to our switch we had been fans of Fog Chaser One-Cups, then. When we began to grind our coffee, we switched to Whole Bean Fog Chaser and changed our subscripion to Whole Bean automatic delivery. Last month was the first and hopefully only time we appeared to be exhausting our supply earlier than our next delivery anticipated. Perhaps due to our wish of not needing to ever start our day without Fog Chaser brew. I decide to search the Internet in the hope of finding a bag of Fog Chaser that I could get quickly, to hold us over until our next scheduled delivery. I did in fact find a bag of Fog Chaser that we could receive in a day. In my moment of relief, I failed to realize that I had purchased a bag of Grounded Fog Chaser, rather than our preferred Whole Bean Fog Chaser. Fortunately, we enjoyed the grounded Fog Chaser and it did save the week. To be honest we did notice a difference between the two diferent versions, Grounded and Whole Bean. Although the Grounded was satisfying and certainly was better than not having it all. We have grown to enjoying our daily ritual of grinding our beans, and then enjoying the wonderful aroma as our coffee maker brews our freshly grounded coffee. Each morning, our senses are stimulated as both aromas and taste of the coffee begin our daily morning ritual. Thank you San Francisco Bay Coffee for continuing to provide a constant supply of your wonderful Fog Chaser coffee. We appreciate all the efforts of your family and growers who produce such outstanding coffee for us all to enjoy. By the way, we rate you; "Excellent" and if you haven't ever had, "Strong reccomendation to try at least once".

I knew I was going to like this coffee the second that I opened up the bag. The aroma was so fresh, so rich..was hoping that it would taste as good as it smelled. As it was brewing the aroma is magnificent - just the way that coffee should smell while brewing. The flavor is perfect, smooth, bold, and zero bitterness. Don't get me wrong. I like other coffees as well..Peet's Major Dickason, a couple of the Kicking Horse coffees, Starbucks Pikes Place, and others, but compare the prices vs. the weight. This Fog Chaser is every bit as good as any of those other coffees and better than some, but ounce for ounce it is quite a bit cheaper. This is now my main, go-to coffee. Try it..you won't be disappointed!!

I do pour over. So delicious.

Needs more depth of flavor.

When we used the Keurig, these were the pods I got. Then we switched to pour over coffee. It was glad to see that fog chaser was available in these larger bags. Delicious coffee, reasonable price.
