Worked perfectly in my Kitchenaid microwave
My microwave was working just fine and then in mid-cycle started making a loud hum for a couple seconds and then stopped. Issue was this capacitor and, of course, the blown 20A line fuse. The bad capacitor was completely shorted. Outwardly it showed no signs of failure. The new one measured 1.062 uf and was a perfect physical fit for my Kitchenaid 21.75” 1200w microwave oven. Once I replaced it and the blown 20A fuse, the microwave worked good as new! I was initially worried that the high voltage diode may has also failed, but in my case it was fine. (One word of caution: The diode test function on your digital multimeter probably does not generate enough voltage to cause the high voltage diode to conduct… it will appear faulty because it does not conduct in either direction. Use a 9v battery or power supply with >5v to test if the diode conducts.) If your capacitor shorts out like mine did, be sure to also get some replacement 20A fuses too.

Fixed a maytag microwave.
My microwave appliance, said no more. Looked up online the, symptoms, turns out it was the capacitor. So carefully, with rubber gloves and time for it to discharge, opened it up and replaced the old with the new. And back to normal, heats my water great! Thank you! Careful when you're in their these capacitors are no joke, over a 1000 volts. But they discharge quick, unplug the microwave before attempting an installation.

Direct fit in most microwaves
This unit was a direct fit in our GE microwave. Many people discourage working on your own microwave but I disagree. Microwaves are made up of 4 primary parts: The power transformer, the magnetron, the capacitor and the one-way diode. There are other misc parts (like the moisture sensor, the control board etc) but those are the 4 primary parts and primary failure-points. For a fraction of the cost of a full microwave replacement, you can easily replace all 4 of these parts and have a brand-new microwave again. Plenty of online videos that can guide you through it. Save money and save the landfill by fixing your own equipment!

Worked in my Maytag Microwave
Low cost, easy fix, perfect fit, same specs as one in my 10 year old microwave. Saved the cost of a new microwave. Thanks

Fit/Works On 2002 Maytag UMC5100ADS Microwave
The µF rating of this capacitor is slightly higher than the original (0.95 +- 3%). It fit in the original capacitor holding bracket. Installation required crimping the original connectors with needle nose pliers just a bit to grip better on the capacitor pins. As installed, the pins on this capacitor are vertical, whereas the original were horizontal, however this did not present any problem. Overall, installation was easy and our 20-year old microwave is back up and running with no problems.

Very difficult
Did not work.

connection problem
Problems always seem to come up when you try to fix something. Here even though the capacitor looks good, for some unknown reason they made the connector tabs too narrow so you have to modify the connectors to make them stay on when you slide them in!

Igualito al que trae de fabrica y hasta misma marca. En mi caso era para un microondas Maytag y funciono a la perfección

Does the job make sure you try to match the part number as closely to your original
