It may be plastic, but it has good threads and accurate screw sizes, it is sturdy and easy to read. Definitely worth the price.

My very fist review after years. Lazy! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars with a caveat - For the cost and overall function, this is great. I don't think you will find anything better. I have several screw and nut thread gauges, but these are in a large case, and not convenient to use for checking a couple of bolts/screws for daily needs. These smaller gauges like the BCP are perfect. I would have gladly paid more for a thicker unit, so there are a couple more threads. I also wish there was a measuring section for the length of bolts. It comes with information on both sides: One side includes ANSI and metric size and thread information (also drill), and the other side has tap. Includes both N.C and N.F. for ANSI - excellent! Easy to read and high quality platic. I have printed many different gauges, but they all pale in comparison. For $10, its one of my favorite tools.

I was looking tirelessly for specific tiny laptop screw online wasted 4hrs got no where...i cannot believe i could of saved hours guessing screw size and threading type, this really works and takes the guess work out. It would be a really nice tool if its made of some sort of aluminum or stainless steel, only time will tell.

Anyone with an extra old toolbox full of screws,bolts,nails... this thing is so useful!

I was looking for inexpensive gauge for small metric bolts. I was leary about this one but now that I have it, it is great. I is plastic but it does have threads. As long as you are careful with it, it should last a long time. I'm very happy with it because it measures down to very small bolts. Worth the price, for sure.

Works fine, just wish it had more thread sizes. It only has two thread pitch counts per standard size and one for each metric. Have to be a little careful that you do t cross thread or force a different thread pitch into the plastic guage. It would be very easy to strip out the threads.

It covers about any bolt smaller than a finger. It is plastic, so with lots of use I expe ct wear, but… It is a really well thought out tool, which is a high bar for a plastic sheet full of threaded holes. They went to the effort to print the markings on both side but then when the extra bit to organize the printing differently on the two sides so depending on how you think about sizing there is a side for you. One side has the diameter next to the hole and and the drill sizes in extra columns. The other side has the thread pitch next to the hole and the diameters in extra columns. So one side is your “how do I drill and tap a hole for this bolt I’m holding” and the other side is the “what kind of nut do I buy for this bolt I’m holding”. Well executed product, would buy the designer a drink.

J'ai differentes jauges de filetage, mais celle-ci est particulièrement utile par son principe et sans légèreté. En un clin d'œil ont peut vérifier diamètre et pas. Seule contrainte : elle est en plastique, donc il faut en tenir compte et ne pas forcer si la tige filetée n'entre pas de façon fluide.

Well made, has all internal threads. I have more metric hardware coming from China , so it is good to have

It could do with been a little thicker. However it’s a great product. I deal with both metric and imperial threads it’s a very easy check
