Really, really easy to clean. It does not have a removable, washing machine cover—rather it boasts a well-made sturdy outdoor water hose-able surface, which is our preference. I don’t have a giant washer, so that’s not even an option for us. This bed may work well in a machine, and I’d drop it at the laundromat if it needs it in the future. We have two Border Heelers—mixed Border Collie and Blue Heeler. Beautiful and amazing dogs. Also stronger than 90% of dogs, or 110% more stubborn. They have limitless tenacity. We have a place they love to go under our brick house—maybe it was used for wood storage accessed from outside, but it is perfect to keep them safe if a storm pops up while we are away. Our boy kept growing, and I heard him whimper crawling out of that hole…so we rolled the rock back over it to save him from arthritis and hip problems. Our girl is the perfect little size, but she loses the space as well. In order to feel secure, apparently, they literally bulldozed our pool fence—we have just invested $3,500 for a fence company to come out and install a higher quality fence. They dig 3 feet holes in the yard—they try to dig and tunnel under our sidewalk. Yes, we have working farm dogs on a regular property. We rescued the mother dog by keeping her when she showed up in terrible condition at our house ready to deliver 6 puppies. My husband fell in love with her—and I loved one of her boy puppies (hence the set of dogs). They are in a PetSafe invisible fence during the day out in the yard, and they are crate-loving babies who come in every night around dark. It was a gamble—and I’m glad I took it. They destroyed all blankets, but I can’t stand them in the crates with nothing. These are 100x better than nothing. They repel hair, water, and smell. They wash perfectly with the water hose and dry quickly. I use the pet hair sweeper over it, and all of that Collie hair practically jumps off of this bed. I could not recommend it more. I don’t think of our dogs as destructive chewers—but our boy would almost eat a woven blanket. The beds do not have any snags or parts that look good to chew on, which has been absolutely perfect. We couldn’t be more satisfied. Perfect fit for the crate. Also I really appreciate the loops for hanging on the back. No more draping over pool chairs!! We have been using two of them for about a month—will update in ) months. 100% recommend you giving this a chance! It’s always a gamble, and every dog is different. Oh, and our big boy dog comes in wet if he decides to take a dip in the pool—again, we are waiting on the fence company. The bed repels his dog + wet dog smell. They work perfectly for us!!

Our lab had ACL surgery and has to be crated while we are out. He is not happy about it and has already ripped apart 1 bed. Today the bed survived while the plastic tray dis not.

I have 3 large dogs who rip anything and everything to shreds other than their blankets. We have gone through so many regular dog beds and pillows. But these. These beds have not a single hole or puncture mark. I fully plan on buying more and highly recommend to anyone. My dogs love them, they get so comfy on them which they havent done with anything else.

For reference, this puppy is 27 pounds. She has murdered 2 beds so far. She is typically REAL spoiled. She came from a rescue and we decided those days are behind her. BUT THE ANXIETY is real. This bed is not super soft, so she gets a baby blanket. You can see on the corners that it is well reinforced. Her crate is in the bedroom so...she has attempted to chew this but it is durable so I can hear her. It went through the washer just fine, but had to be dried flat. Which is no big deal.

This is a great dog bed that fits our wire crate perfectly. NOTHING IS CHEW PROOF!!! So I will not rate this bed as such, but it is made well. If your dog chews something, that is YOUR FAULT and poor management of your dog. Instead of trying to find CHEW PROOF items which DO NOT EXIST, learn to properly manage your dog and not blame others or items for your lack of responsibility. With that said, I would love to see this bed come in Multicam. I would pay more for it if it did come in Multicam.

NOT for chewers! This lasted less than 5 min with my dog. He ripped a hole in it very easily. Total waste of money!

This bed is worth the money! I have a one year old Lab/Golden/Shepherd mix named Zeke and he is quite the Destructo Dog when it comes to beds of any kind. We bought him nice fluffy beds and he shreds them..it looks like they spontaneously combusted around him after just minutes. We finally found a crate pad with durable material but he recently outgrew it and also finally shredded it. I did more research on durable beds than I did for my 12 page papers in college. I even thought about dropping the big bucks for a KONG one but the reviews were awful for them. I FINALLY came across this bed and read the reviews and was pleased to see that for most, it was a success. I ordered it and when it arrived (in a GIANT flat Amazon box that the UPS man's imagination must've been having a field day with) I threw it into his crate..PERFECT FIT. Now the real test came.. We had to go out and he was going to have to spend some quality time with this new bed that I had dropped a nice chunk of change for. When we came back I literally prayed that when I opened the door to my room I wouldn't see a puppy surrounded by white fluff and the shredded remains of yet another bed...and my prayers were answered!! Not even a single rip or tear! Zeke even likes to dig on his beds and this has held up against that too! I've had this amazing miracle bed for about two and a half weeks and it's STILL ALIVE! Not even the smallest amount of damage! You don't know my dog so that may not seem like a huge accomplishment but TRUST me... It is! Buy this bed and try it out. Zeke loves it and I don't have to feel bad anymore that he is sleeping on the crate floor since he shreds all blankets and beds. It has nice fluffy padded sides and a flatter but still cushioned bottom which is good because those of you who have a shredder for a dog knows..the less stuffing the better! It also cleans up nicely when I run the vacuum over it so win win. Worth the $$$!
