Helikon-Tex CLASSIC ARMY JACKET - FLEECE

This classic army fleece is superb value for money, if it was the Danish company with the fox logo on it, you would be paying four times the amount and it wouldn’t be as warm or robust as this.. i compared it with the Helikon alpha grid fleece but chose this classic army for it was warmer, slightly longer in length and overall more substantial but for some reason Helikon decided not to use YKK zippers on this army fleece which are used on almost all of their jackets and trousers, however the zips do move smoothly and freely but just would have been nice to have the ykk zips. I am 6ft 2” tall with a 42 inch chest and the size large in this fits perfectly…not restricted unlike the tight cut of the alpha grid fleece. The army fleece also doesn’t look too military…and there are none of those Velcro patches .for everyday use or out in the field hiking or for bushcraft ect this black classic army fleece is hard to beat. Having allready owned one of these jackets for years that was getting tatty decided to replace it .these Helikon jackets are warmer than they feel to touch plus internally lined /reinforced with airtex type fabric which helps thermally as well. bonus features such as covered shoulder areas and sleeve elbows . In short a brilliant product .

Great product, purchased it 2nd time. Previous one lasted 3 years and the only reason for replacement was that I ripped off half of the sleeve. Just note that I use this flece as a work gear in a woodworking business. One thing that I personally would like to add to the design is somekind of underarm vents, zips or something. Regular fit, not slim but not baggy. Overall 10/10, you won't regret!

Zips didn't last that long. Have lost a couple of teeth already. Otherwise fit ok and good quality. Just zip lets product down in my opinion. Pity

I like this fleece a lot but the only negative is that it is slightly too big in the standard large size. If you wear L as normal then probably a medium would be a better fit. That said it is a really good jacket with smart reinforced elbows and shoulders. Decent sized chest pocket and a smaller but useful pocket on the left arm. The two pocket on the main body are also a good size. Nice velcro fasteners on the cuffs. I have worn this jacket now for a number of weeks and has been excellent in most of the weather we have had this summer. From strong wind to showers it has kept me warm. I would have given it five stars but for the sizing. That said I could have returned it for a Medium but really needed it for work pretty quickly.

Amazing jacket that WILL keep you warm all year round! Fleece is great and the arm and shoulder panels are really sturdy! Use it all the time for work and working the dogs. We'll worth the money!

Great quality fleece. Perfect fit (XL, I’m 6’2 w/46” chest). Low bulk which is perfect as a mid-layer. Seems warm enough alone @ 5°c (yet to get any colder weather). Love the nylon shoulder and elbows that extend to full forearm. High collar is fantastic, especially the toggle. Highly recommended, especially at the price.

This product is not value for money Poor material bad stiching What shows in picture product is not up to that standard.

Good jacket. Works good for my intended purpose. The only draw back is the zipper connects on the opposite side that I am used to.

Ich bin 189cm groß und wiege 112 kg, habe die Jacke in Größe XL bestellt und sie passt super. Sie sieht gut aus und ist robust, somit Outdoortauglich. Habe mit ihr direkt am Feuer hantiert und es ist nichts passiert. Kaufempfehlung

Passt perfekt. Sitzt locker aber nicht labberig. Gute Verarbeitung. Gewohnte Qualität eben.
