Bladerunner Formula 82 W Womens Inline Skates 2013 Size:7.0

I sold my Landrollers last summer after they started hurting my feet and ankles...Needed a new pair of regular blades. These felt very comfortable right off the bat. I put them to a 10 mile test the first time I used them, which maybe I should not have because after an hour I started feeling like there was something rubbing on the outer ankle bone. Maybe a stone? But there wasn't, as I stopped and readjusted the tightness, and then all of a sudden, after 8 miles, could not blade anymore, I had some skin rubbed off on the bone and it was raw. I have to wait for this to heal before blading again. I have been blading for about 14 years and always wear a pair of thick mens socks that are as tall as the boot. I saw rollerblading socks but they are $18 so I have not purchased any. If anyone knows how they work or if they are worth $18 please let me know. I want to continue using these as they fit well, are wide enough for wider feet ... maybe I just overdid it. I typically only blade 7 miles at a time.

Snug and secure fit. Durable. My feet don't feel like they're slipping out or anything. Good ankle support. I really like them!

Very nice and a good smooth ride. The booties inside were a bitt thigt at first but aftet walking with them for a wile they got fitted.
