Saw a pinterest use of placemats for shelf liners in the refrigerator. The fact thst they are clear, the light in the refrigerator shines thru them. Then spills in the refrigerator are on the placemats. You pull out the mat, wash in the sink, dry and put it back. The shelves stay clean. Love how easy to use.

I got these as an extra protectant for when the grandkids are visiting! They work perfectly to prevent damage and spills on our wood table. Super easy to clean, would definitely suggest if you have small ones or even messy big kids around!

I had some clear placemats, they were old. These are bigger and stronger. Great buy.

I used these to protect my desk as well as leave a printed calendar and other documents under to protect from my laptop while working from home. The sheerness makes it easy for me to see my calendar when planning meetings. They do get scuffed up a bit, but nothing too distracting.

Don't just think placemats! These are strong enough to be used for all kinds of things. I used them to protect my table in decorating a Christmas village. I have put them under plants which I had on table tops. I put them under cutting boards. Try them, you'll see.

I bought these because my kids eat at our counter and it always seems to be sticky. While these do the job to sort of contain the mess I really wanted something transparent. These are a milky color so you can definitely see them on the counter. Not sure if they are heatproof other than we have put plates and bowls on them with hot food and the placemats did not melt. So they do their job but I wanted something transparent so you almost wouldn’t be able to tell there was anything there.

I love these. The blend in and we can enjoy our colorful table cloth.
