This is an amazing product. When I was a teenager I constantly used a blow dryer and straightener. So to say my hair was fried would be an understatement. I've been familiar with this product for years, my mother used to use it. Now that I'm getting older in my hair is getting drier and frizzier I decided to try it. I really like how it calms down the frizzies without making my hair look oily. It adds a shine to my hair, too.

Vo-5 makes my hair look healthy, shiny and calms the frizzy bits! I have super thick hair which is curly and wavy. This old school product is the only thing I can find that makes it look great. My mom used this on herself and all my sisters since the ‘60s. Yep. I love beauty and hair products and used to be a hairdresser. I have tried a ton of products but always come back to this one. It’s greasy feeling in a way, and you really don’t need a lot and you definitely don’t want it near your scalp. I damp dry my hair, put dime size in my palm and rub, then apply to the bottom 3/4ths of my hair ( hair is shoulder length) focusing on the ends. What’s left I run through the interior of the the hair in same area. I then blow dry and flat iron my hair and can get it very smooth and I’m good to go for days. My sister also still uses it but she lets her hair air dry. It makes your hair look so glossy and healthy. Also it keeps my hair from looking too big and fluffy. Only a thick haired person understands. At times I will sometimes apply a tiny bit to shine up the ends through the week. All in all it has stood the test of time. The most I Important thing is to find the balance of not too much not to little. I wish the smell was better, it’s the same as many years ago but I will always have it on hand. Recently, I did run out and used some hair care products I received in a beauty box. I thought well not too bad, until I got the Vo-5 and realized that product wasn’t doing me service at all. A little goes a long way so you won’t run out to fast.

I haven’t used this in 30 years. Need it now. But I hate the fragrance. It’s a great product for curly hair.

I used this conditioning hairdressing when I was little, and I’m so happy I finally found it again. It still works just as well as I remember. I have curly dry hair and had a hard time combing it, it would break, but one use of Vo5 and my hair is soft and I can comb it with ease!!!! I love it!!

A trusted brand, a bit expensive and the tube seems smaller. The product itself is superior.

This is amazing ! My hair was so dried and fried from bleaching and this brought it back to life in about 2 weeks. You only need a dime size amount warm it up in your hands and spread carefully as it can get greasy.
